Pool chairs are dirty with signs of moulds. WIFI was ok. Definitely a 3 star not 4 star hotel. Pictures are much better than reality so it’s misleading. Hotel is quite outdated, partly renovated, however bathroom was really bad - mould, and clear signs of wear and dusty. Towels are very old. Bath curtains are unhygienic sorry, but I was feeling that We are staying in cheap student hostel somewhere in third world country Carpets in corridors and in elevator are really dirty. Selection of breakfast - poor, no any single yoghurt. Fruit only apple and oranges that was really bad surprise. Expected wider selection of food, the length of breakfast time is just two hours. Hotel is non smoking, however General Manager of hotel was smoking in his office with open door. Managers office is located next to reception, and is on the way to elevators. Grand Hotel Parco del Sole - All Inclusive" is not worth the money as the food selection is very little and so boring as it is the same everyday. If you are 2 mins late for lunch or dinner they won’t give anything. So Pathetic. No gelato / ice cream. Aircon was working acceptable, however it was quite loud. I would like to say, that also cleaning quality of the rooms is below expected. All in all, I would rate them 4 points out of 10, to be honest, I was expecting something better. It was not worth the money we paid, definitely. Hotel is badly maintained, and that is main problem here and Food let them down. Better off staying near Sorrento town than here as you will pay €25 for 5 mins taxi ride.

This place is cheap and cheerful the dinner in my opinion was the worst part a very small selection and not good for those with allergens as no info displayed we went all inclusive and if you want to explore the area this is a bad idea , it is average price to eat out so I would prefer that as we did that most nights anyway , the breakfast ends at 9.30 , bit of a joke as you hardly want to wake at that time on your holidays so we are out for breakfast too . Breakfast okay selection and lunch nice selection too big no ice creams or anything . Cocktail selection good and impressive for all inclusive . The decor is extremely dated it’s like a time warp in the restaurant. The bedroom itself is okay again cheap and cheerful very clean but some things broke presses for example and the bathrooms are like something from the 90s , a shower curtain which I think is very unhygienic in this day and age they seriously need updating . The grout was dirty and just notice there are no pics of the bathrooms on booking . Com also the location , not ideal 15/10 minute walk from centre would be ok but path was under construction so made the walk more difficult and not good at night time . Taxis are crazy money , 4mins one night = 25€ so keep that in mind , my advice would be to stay closer in the centre and spend that bit extra as it will be spent on taxis anyways and don’t go all inclusive in a place famous for its cuisine cause if you like pizza you won’t eat one for dinner in this hotel

Personnel was very welcome and polite; Pool area is good (except chairs, some of them are with signs of mould); WIFI was good; Parking was available free of charge; Definitely not 4 star hotel. Pictures are much better than reality. We booked two same type of rooms, in reality one was standard double twin room, other was as we booked Superior Double or Twin Room. Difference is in size of the rooms and also cost. They are saying, that rooms have terrace and Balcony - well, there is small balcony, but not terace. Hotel is quite outdated, partly renovated, however bathroom was really bad - mould, and clear signs of wear. Especially those bath curtains, sorry, but I was feeling that I am saying in cheap student hostel somewhere in poor third country ; Carpets in corridors and in elevator are really outdated and dirty; Selection of breakfast - poor, no any single vegetable or fruit is available during summer season, that was really bad surprise. Expected wider selection of food, the length of breakfast time is just two hours; Hotel is non smoking, however General Manager of hotel was smoking in his office with open door. GM's office is located next to reception, and is on the way to elevators; "Grand Hotel Parco del Sole - All Inclusive" name is loud and promessing, however, this is additional cost, not included in room rate. AC was working acceptable, however it was quite loud. I would like to say, that also cleaning quality of the rooms is below expected. All in all, I would rate them 5 points out of 10, to be honest, I was expecting something better. It was not worth the money I paid, definitely. There are a lot of mixed reviews but we really enjoyed our time here. The hotel itself was probably at one point top of it's game, with it's marble bars, ornate glass lights and wall ornaments. Since then it's got a little tired but is still fairly nice. There are 2 pools, the large pool is great, the small pool was a bit chilly though. We had a set of clip around armbands for our 2 year old which we would recommend and our daughter started to jump in and swim with them for the first time in the large pool. The rooms have had some upgrades but there are still bits that could do with a tidy up. We found the room practical and the bed comfortable. The staff were all amazing, they could not do enough for us. If I were to score the staff out of 10, they would get an 11. I require a gluten free diet and they were always really keen to help me from cooking gluten free pasta to rustling me up a burger and all served with a gluten free roll. The general buffet was nice if a bit repetitive but again we enjoyed it and had the occasional meal out too. Every morning at breakfast they bought me an assortment of gluten free cakes, biscuits, bread and cereal. The full buffet breakfast was impressive and my wife and daughter really enjoyed it. The staff were also really great with children, and very understanding while we were trying to potty train our daughter. The drinks were non-branded spirits but they did some nice cocktails which we enjoyed along with the proper Italian espresso. Watch out for mosquitos by the bushes and in the evening, there is a pharmacy just down the road which will sell you repellant and ointment. As we went with TUI, there was a shuttle bus that we could book the day before to take us in and out of town. With a 2 year old, we didn't fancy walking into Sorrento itself but walked to the local supermarket, the local Lido - La Marinella (you have to book in advance) and a great pizzeria Il Ruttino. We got a reasonable deal through TUI and for the price we paid we had a fantastic time.

We ended up staying here in September when TUI cancelled our original booking in Sorrento. Hotel was ok, weather great and we were extremely pleased to have got away this year. The issue we had was the food. Breakfast was a great selection in the main restaurant in the hotel. Lunch and dinner was served in the outdoor seating area by the pool and there was very little choice and mostly it was cold. We had to eat out most nights. One evening there was a large party of around 30 people dining and food ran short. All that was left was potato and veg. When we asked what we could have with it, we were told salad! We did have to eat out most nights. There was a nice restaurant you can walk to just right of the hotel or take the shuttle bus down into Sorrento. Also this is the only all inclusive hotel we have ever been to where once meals are over.there is absolutely nothing to eat until the next meal. I think under normal circumstances this hotel could be so good but sadly the food let them down.
