Detailed Reviews
This is a fabulous place to stay. We arrived and received a warm welcome from Lucia who showed us around the grounds and apartments. The garden of orange and lemon trees is wonderfully kept and a pleasure to walk through. Our apartment was spotless and contained everything you need, very spacious and lovely decorated in true Italian style, the views from the balconies are wonderful. It is located away from the hustle and bustle and very quiet. Lucia is a fantastic host, offering assistance and help throughout our stay. We cannot wait to return next year - this really is a beautiful place to stay and definitely our favourite.

+1
We stayed in the 2 bedroomed Villa Fillide A, first 2 weeks in September. What can i say? - everything you could want & more...
A beautiful Villa, typical Italian style. Spacious rooms, spotlessly clean. 2 x bathrooms, small kitchen area, lounge area, 2 x bedrooms both with double doors on to the balcony.
The balcony itself is huge, covering 3 sides of the villa.
One side of our balcony overlooked the small pool area, and had wonderful views of Naples & Vesuvius. The pool area is kept clean & tidy. The gardens are beautiful with cacti, orange & lemon trees, pomegranite trees, lavendar - just beautiful!
There is also a lovely roof top terrace to enjoy, with fantastic views.
Easy to get to the train station, bus stop or walk into Sorrento. An ideal base for travelling around.
The hosts are perfectly wonderful and always happy to help should you need them. Thank you for everything and for making our stay so wonderful. Missing it so much!
No complaints at all, i highly recommend this wonderful villa.

This villa was the perfect location for our daughter and son in law’s wedding venue. We booked the whole villa for our family and everyone loved our stay here with the fabulous grounds and views. Special mention to the owners Lucia and Salvadore who went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and even bought a cake for the evening celebrations - so generous. Can’t recommend this villa highly enough.

The Villa is situated away from busy roads in lovely surroundings. Great local Pizzeria nearby and a 20 min walk into Sorrento. Hosts were extremely accommodating and welcoming and I would highly recommend the Villa.

Spent our wedding week at the Villa with family and friends. All the apartments were incredible and the villa itself was perfect. The owner, Lucia could not have been more accommodating and we could not thank her enough for everything she did. Highly recommended the Villa and it was the perfect location for our wedding party.

The villa situated in a perfect out of the way location which is peaceful and tranquil, in the middle of an orange and lemon grove.. Soon realised after one visit to sorrento that we couldn't wait to get back to the villa. Very rarely stay in on holiday, but found that we didn't want to go out but stayed on the terrace with the BBQ and nice prosecco listening to some good tunes. Luca and Salvatore were stunning also, Luca took us shopping in her car when we got there, Salvatore gave us a bottle of home made wine from his vineyard. Luca arranged for her brother in law to take us into town to get the airport bus. Perfect for trips to Pompeii, sorrento, Capri, Naples and even Rome. Excellent facilities, wifi in rooms and around the pool.
One thing I would say, I really don't think the photos do this beautiful place and it's gorgeous views any justice...!
If your looking at booking, cut out the thinking about it and just book.. You will not regret.
Just get a good mozzie spray, otherwise they will eat you alive!

After a long drive we were immediately charmed by our gracious hostess Lucia who showed us to an apartment we had not booked. It was an upgrade to a better apartment at no extra cost! Large, comfortable rooms with plenty of light and scrupulously clean. A balcony on three sides although we obviously spent most of the time on the one with fantastic views over the Bay of Naples. The pool was great and Salvatore kept it wonderfully clean. Sant' Agnello and particularly Sorrento are very busy but you will soon discover that, unless necessary, you do not need to leave the villa.
Don't buy lemons, they drop from the trees surrounding the villa! You must visit Pompeii, its amazing but don't drive....take the train from Sant' Agnello at the bottom of the hill.

My family and stayed in the large apartment above the pool this last July. We had a terrific time, from the local seafood we barbequed out on the deck, to the evening walk up to a hill village to witness the "Festival of the Madonna", Lucia and Salvatore were gracious and welcoming hosts. The bedrooms were fresh, clean and comfortable, the kitchen was just right... and the views from the deck - of the clean blue pool where our two girls played all the time - of Vesuvius - and the mountain sunsets, was truly special. We loved the walk up from town (10 minutes), which got us away from the traffic and major tourist areas, that ended in a walk through an orange and lemon grove. We also loved that when asked by locals where we were staying, they all smiled and seemed to know Lucia and Villa Flavia! Lucia's son (a marine biologist at home for the summer) even spent a day guiding us on an amazing kayak trip in the National Park on the tip of the peninsula! Getting to Pompei and Herculaneum was easy... and less crowded than getting on the train at Sorrento. Lastly, Lucia made a special effort to drive my aging Father and his wife to their early morning bus to the airport, and later she drove the rest of us down to Sorrento. Our one "noisy" night in Sorrento made us miss the country and the birdsong of Villa Flavia in Sant Agnello even more!
Thank you Lucia and Salvatore. We will be back!

I've been meaning to write a review for a while. We stayed in May this year. The apartment was lovely and spacious, with a balcony that went 3 quarters of the way round, so we had the sun in the morning by the breakfast table on the balcony, then it moved round to where the sunloungers were in the afternoon and then where the comfy chairs were in the evening,
A lovely well equipped apartment with a bath and a separate shower which you don't often get.
It was so peaceful and quiet over looking the orange and lemon grove, it was lovely walking back at night through the grove and seeing it filled with fireflies I've never seen so many.
The pool was lovely to lounge around.
It was only about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Sant Agnello and the train. Its a great place to stay to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum which we did. A longer walk to Sorrento along a main road mostly or you can just get the train. The old part of Sorrento is lovely, away from the traffic, Marina Grande was my favourite marina, lovely bar at the bottom of the walk down to it. I liked the marina as well at Piano de Sorrento, which was about a 20-30 walk in the opposite direction to Sorrento, it had a few café/restaurants, usually lovely and quiet.
Lucia and her family were very friendly and helpful, we saw Lucia a couple of time when we were walking about in Sant Agnello or shopping, she kindly offered us a lift back, but we were still exploring. Lucia also arranged our taxi transfers from and back to the airport at a good rate.
The cost of the apartment was very reasonable too.
It was our first visit to Italy, as we mainly visit Greece, but I'd wanted to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum for a long time. I'm glad I chose Villa Flavia, my husband said it was the loveliest apartment we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many lovely apartments over the years. It was lovely to return to after exploring and so quiet, away from the busy roads of Sorrento. I recommend staying at these apartments.
