not positive: no hot water ( I had to take a cold shower). Bar area and reception very hot, TV in the room small and outdated. Poor breakfast. positive: comfortable and clean rooms. Fast and kind welcome
Kudos to the friendly staff that resolved our booking issue! Due to our flight cancellation, we “did not show” to our hotel reservation and arrived a day after. Thanks to the receptionist, she was so accommodating and understanding and she was able to resolve the accommodation issue. She also provided accurate instructions on train and bus schedules/locations.
Unfortunately we got a room with broken toilet - water was always on the floor. Room is extremely dark (not enough light). Doesn't matter Diamond you or not - you will be served as usual. Personal is good
It’s been more than 10 years since I ve been at ibis Sesto Fiorentino Hotel and I still chose it for my business trips. Friendly staff,free parking,quiet area and very clean rooms.I suggest it,specially for travellers by car!!!
The staff were very unfriendly and the service was awful. A person from our group fell during the tour and when she arrived to the hotel she entered in a luggage cart since she couldn't walk and no one from the hotel came to her to help her. We asked them if they could get a wheel chair for her and the answer was a No without giving her any options. I was drinking at the bar with my parents and paid a huge bill and at the end when I paid the bill I asked to the waitress for some ice to drink cold water and she said NO that they didn't have any more, even when the bar was still open. Her name was Serena and was very impolite. I will definetly not come back to this hotel. Poor sensibilty and cortesy.
No supplies in the bathroom only two types of towels and to plastic cups. Very poor. The service at the restaurant and bar were far from friendly and the food was in a B in quality and options. No room service available.
Front desk customer service was excellent. Service at the restaurant was excellent as well. Rooms need some renovations. Room and bathroom to small.There were long hairs on our bathroom floor every day. We didn't know the location of the hotel, but it is too far away from the city center.
I go almost every month to this hotel and I am satisfied with the services provided by the staff! The girls at the reception are very nice and ready to serve you any time. The rooms are large and clean (the chambermaid is cleaning daily).Unfortunately in the room it is not a mini bar. Breakfast is a good one, but it would be perfect if there were also vegetables and omelet (or something warm).
Basic 3 star property. Very poor hotel choice by our tour company. Hotel is approximately 12 kilometres out of the city with no useful amenities or restaurants close by for tourists. There were 10 people (5 rooms) in our group and 3 rooms had to be changed due to maintenance issues - leaking taps, flooding in bathroom, broken showers etc. Not what you need at the end of a tiring day.
The hotel is obviously close to the airport so there's a lot of transit of people on business trips. You can however visit the city using public transport, not too far away. The rooms are value for price, the breakfast is sober but sufficient. Personally I found the staff very helpful in what I asked for. And I ask for stuff! Downside of the hotel is then of course the surrounding. After business hours there's really nothing nearby. For a work trip I would advise it, for a city trip probably less.
