A beautiful and serene farm to help you get away, truly relax and rejuvenate. This bed and breakfast is situated in the middle of a peaceful and picturesque Italian countryside. We were hosted by a wonderful family (Massimo and his two sons, Samuele and Emanuele) who were the definition of hospitable. I was amazed at this self-sustaining farm. It was as if everything we ate, was made in house (pasta, oil, vegetables, cheese, etc). I was in awe and impressed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Can’t wait to visit again.
We had absolutely fabulous time at Agriturismo Lustrinu! The farm itself is very well looked after, lots of space outside for children to play. Rooms are spacious and had everything we need, including modern kitchen with all amenities. We booked it for a week, so had complimentary breakfasts, which were fantastic! Eggs, lots of local cheeses, lots of parma ham, cakes and of corse a HUGE cup of cappuccino with the milk just from their own cow's morning milk. After such a breakfast your day can't go wrong :) We had dinner there twice and it was great too! SO many appetizers and all main dishes that it's difficult to tell how many of them were there! Don't have any lunch if you going to stay for dinner at the farm. Thank you Donatella for all the yummy breakfasts and dinners! We all enjoyed them very much!!! You really have a feeling that you are visiting your old friends, we felt very welcome and home like from the very first minutes. They don't speak English, but it wasn't a problem for us, we just use Google Translator if we needed any anything. True Italian hospitality, totally recommend to stay. The location is great to explore Umbria. Great vineyard nearby RossoBastardo, must try their wines! We loved it so much that even bought a box to take home :) Good day trip to sandy beaches at San Benedetto. Go to a last restaurant at the beach and try their seafood pasta and prosecco, which is on tap! Another great day trip to a Monti Sibilini Country Park. Prepare some picnic and drive to Fiastra, then follow signs to go to an old Fort/Castle just near the village center. Enjoy your picnic with breathtaking views. Then drive down to the lake for a swim, there are changing rooms and toilets available. Thank you Donatella for all the advises you and your family gave us on where to go and what to see! And a special thank you to a grandpa from our friend's son Maxim. He really enjoyed feeding the chickens and watching how grandpa operates the tractor. That was the first thing he told to his own grandparents when they asked him what he liked the most :))…
We visited with my 22 month old son who just loved the animals- there are horses, a donkey, lots of goats, 3 cows, a peacock, ducks and geese. Donatella is just lovely, and made sure we had whatever we wanted for breakfast; from yoghurts and cakes, to cheese, mozzarella, hams and boiled eggs with bread. We also had dinner there on a few nights. For 25 euros per person you get mixed antipasti, a starter (your preference of pasta) and a main course (meat) with salad or veg, dessert, limoncello, wine and water. All was very good! Pretto (suburb of Spoleto) is also a good base for Umbria, not too far from Spoleto, Assisi, Spello, Perugia, Orvieto, Norcia and many more. We loved it!
My husband and I had a perfect time here during our honeymoon. We got a warm welcome from the staff, the accommodation was in very good quality and really enjoyed the traditional atmosphere. Looking forward to visit this place again.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at this true farm "agriturismo". The food was very good, simply prepared with local farm products and recipes. Run by the owners and their family who are true farmers, lovely warm people who made us feel right at home with them. The cook, Donatella, is enchanting as are her in-laws, Mimmo and Caterina (who, by the way, makes all the pasta!). All in all, a delightful family who put their heart into making their guests enjoy their stay and savor the countryside. Very well located for day trips to beautiful Umbrian towns. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay. Were so glad to have discovered it! Christine B.
