The only good thing is the location. It's in the center of the historical city and close to everything. Apart from that, the room was old, it didn't have heat on, even though the temperature was really low and the funniest of all: nobody in the hotel spoke English!!! Breakfast was nothing special and tv didn't have signal. Next time... More

To get scared because the building is very old and seems abandoned, but the hotel is on the back. Very friendly and helpful service, having to borrow umbrella so we can walk around at night. Very basic breakfast. Parking in public park with hotel convention EUR 5.00 per day. OK for short stay like ours.

The hotel is in a great position. That's it. The rest of the services are not worth the price. I was there for a business trip choosing the hotel for the parking service (which eventually is not included) and for the wifi in the room. The wifi doesn't reach all the rooms so I was forced to work from the... More

The Aurora Hotel is a small family owned hotel just off Piazza della Libertà near the top of Spoleto. It's location has some definite advantages and disadvantages. On the positive side, the hotel is well located because it is at the top of Spoleto saving a long walk up the town's steep streets. It is also conveniently off the main... More

We stayed three nights on the second floor in a very comfortable room with a balcony. The bus from the train station dropped us off close to the hotel, maybe a five minute walk with luggage. The hotel was located just off the main square and at the top of the city. We were able to walk to all the... More

Had a good stay at this hotel. My wife accidentally forgot medication in mini bar fridge. Manager had little patience with English language and unwilling to help . ladies there were lovely and when we returned found it for us.

We didn't find out about the local bus until AFTER we had climbed all the way up to the main Piazza in Spoleto, which is where this hotel is located. It is a little hard to find, being down a small alley off the piazza. You have to look carefully for the sign! This is a nice, comfortable hotel, with... More

I stayed at this hotel for a conference about a year ago and never got around to leaving that good review for this lovely place, great value for money. This is a fairly small family hotel with lots of character, the rooms are classic and very clean. They don't have a restaurant but one of the best in Spoleto is... More

A lovely hotel on a secluded courtyard in the center of Spoleto. The breakfast, with hot croissants, was excellent. The rooms are a bit small, but perfectly nice. The only criticism would be the lack of bed-side lights/tables in our room: I don't know whether the problem is generalized.

This small hotel is just off Piazza della Libertà in the old part of Spoleto. We arrived by train and took the local minibus (Route D) that climbs the mountain through ancient narrow streets and stops in the Piazza. Arriving by car is more difficult because of traffic restrictions, the terrain and lack of parking spaces. The staff were friendly... More
