This is a lovely hotel with excellent service. The rooms are comfortable and have everything that you would expect. Breakfast is superb - a feature that is hard to find in Italy. In winter it is served in a bright room overlooking the central courtyard. It must be even nicer in Summer, when it is served in the courtyard itself....

This bright and welcoming hotel is located just outside the walls of the Spoleto town center. It is an easy walk to many of the shops and restaurants. Spoleto is the home of the Spoleto Festival held in June every year. This is the origination of our Charleston, SC Spoleto Festival. The hotel is very "crisp" and bright yellow tones...

Spoleto, December 2007 - one of the coldest winters in Italy! We had checked the forecast, and it indicated an average of 2º to 4º. Coming from a mediterranean island such as Malta, this was already hard to imagine. Arriving in Spoleto was easy. Found Hotel San Luca after a few turnings and a couple of indications. Parked easily right...

After reading many of the positive reviews for this property, I was ambivalent after my recent experience. Just goes to show you that there are times when you have to experience things on your own. I really wanted to love this hotel, but I......didn't. So here are my pros and cons: Pros: The staff was nice. The bathroom is impressive...

So, that’s what I want to reply to this review, expressing at the same time all my excuses if the stay wasn’t as she imagined. The room The guest had room 208. The room is...

Excellent hotel, conveniently located between the railway station (1km) and the center of old town. The breakfast is outstanding and the hotel is very charming.

Everything written about this hotel is true, and then some. What a beautiful place to spend 3 days, I wish it could have been more. The rooms were very bright and airy, we had a corner room so we had lots of light and we overlooked the courtyard. The lobby was so pretty with all of the soup tureens around....

We spent five nights in the San Luca which proved to be the highlight of our two week stay in Italy. Although in an old building the hotel is modern and finished to a very high standard. Our room was charming comfortable and spacious with a state of the art bathroom and a private balcony. Breakfast was varied and generous...

Just to add to all the other positive reviews of San Luca - this is a lovely hotel with delightful rooms, delicious breakfast, beautiful courtyard and friendly helpful staff. If you really don't like walking at all you might find it too far from the town centre but otherwise just go for it.

Our stay in Spoleto was sandwiched between several days in Venice and Rome. Not being big-city lovers, we looked forward to a few days in the countryside of Umbria. We were not disappointed. Hotel San Luca's rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are sumptuous (large, modern, 2 sinks, large tub, good lighting). The breakfasts included many kinds of cheeses, meats,...
