This small family owned hotel is in a beautifully decorated old building, with a lovely peaceful garden with extensive views. The owners could not have been more helpful and welcoming and our stay was perfect in every way (apart from the wet weather, when they even provided us with umbrellas!). We would not hesitate to recommend staying here, although it...

Facing an 11 hour flight delay, I called the hotel to confirm I would be arriving very late, and to please hold my room. Later, after further delays, I eventually arrived in a dark, empty Spoleto Train Station after midnight. I called the hotel and asked them to arrange for a local taxi to pick me up. Instead, one of...

When you walk into this property, you will pass first through the garden and see this stunning view over the Spoleto valley and right away you feel home. Then Laura and Gianpaolo will welcome you so warmly , you never want to leave . The lovely garden is a tranquil place to read a book and have an aperitivo. Our...

Laura and Giampaolo, the owners/hosts at Palazzo Leti, are an elegant couple who make one feel like a welcome guest in their home, with careful attention to every detail. We stayed in the two storey suite at the end of the garden, with sitting room downstairs and bedroom/bathroom upstairs, and a fairly steep circular staircase. The shower was too small,...

Palazzo Leti - a newly restored old palace- is a beautiful spot. The rooms are spacious and beautifully-designed,terrace overlooks a valley and further hills-a perfect spot for the lovely breakfast-and the owners are gracious and very helpful. In only a few minutes wlak you are in the center of Spoleto, but the setting of the Palazzo means that it is...

Rarely do you return to a hotel and find it as wonderful as your first experience. However our stay this summer at the Palazzo Leti was even more wonderful the second time around. My husband and I spent five wonderful days there in June 2011 and returned this July with our daughter and son-in-law for five glorious days. Everything was...

This was the perfect way to begin our vacation, in fact we did not want to leave and extended a day. The view from the entrance of the property in the garden is breathtakingly beautiful, the property meticulously and beautifully renovated the smallest details. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful and every restaurant recommendation was perfet. Breakfast was served...

This is a delightful little place in the heart of Spoleto with a beautiful little garden and stunning views onto the mountains behind the city. Rooms are a bit small but the service is very friendly and it's easy to walk anywhere in the city from there. My only recommendation is to come with a small car - parking is...

This is a haven for the tired traveller covering the Tuscany and Umbria regions. Family owned and operated, management are very friendly, obliging and helpful. The hotel is beautifully equipped with a traditional, renaissance feel. it is well located in the old historical part of the town and yet is close to the main arterial routes.

Well priced, nice terrace, good rooms, except for the bed which was too hard for my taste. Very nice hostess and host, always there to help you.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The beautiful residence of the noble Leti family is located in the historic center of Spoleto. According to various sources, it seems that this was the first residence of the Leti family who arrived in Spoleto in 1500 but the family name became extinct at the beginning of the XIX century. due to a lack of male heirs. The Residence was built shortly after the medieval city walls were constructed (1292) using, in part, a pre existent Roman structure which you can still see walking along Via delle Felici. Recent restoration has revealed an important architectural, environmental and historic heritage not to mention a garden that has been restored in classic "Italian garden" style. From the garden one can admire the beautiful view of Monteluco and some of Spoleto's most important monuments including the Rocca Albornoziana, and St. Peter's Church. Rooms: The Historical Residence consists of 12 rooms, all of which are decorated with warm lightly coloured fabrics and organza. Each room, with its unique architecture, colour and decor is reminiscent of a noble room of the past. All rooms have a view of the sacred mountain of the Spoleto valley "Monteluco", which evokes the peace and the harmony of the hermits that once lived there. Facility: Soundproof, safe, mini bar, air conditioning, TV sat, internet access free. ... more   less
