Sometimes when traveling, you don't get lucky and wind up staying in a place like Villagio Stromboli. The room was dark and trapped in time like a medieval dungeon, including the welcoming charm of a monastic prison. The shower was like a shoebox and not clean. To be fair, the breakfast area had a nice view of the sea, and...

Our family had a great few days at the hotel. Stromboli is amazing and the hotel is situated with a great view and facilities. The location is much better than the hotels near the hydrofoil. The access to an almost private beach and a restaurant with very nice staff and good food for a fair price the location considered. We...

The grounds of Villagio are stunning. Incredible views, 5-10 minute walk from the main village, and a fun ride to/from the port on their complimentary tiny vehicle on the car free island. Our room had a beautiful view of the water, but I couldn't shake the feeling that it wasn't meant for March when the weather was a little cooler...

Stromboli is heaven, in all honesty I don't think it matters where you stay, but I would highly recommend the Villaggio as our experience was brilliant. From the moment we stepped off the ferry my girlfriend and I were whisked off into the hills on a golf cart, smiling at each other as we whizzed round the island in unique...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Villagio in Stromboli. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the hotel and the views were beautiful, and the private beach was oh so convenient. Location. Right on the water, about a 10 minute walk from the port and a 10 minute walk to the main square. The hotel can send a "car"...

A very beautiful place where to stay in Stromboli. directly to the sea, in a very quiet corner of the island but not so far from the center of the village. Rooms are comfortable and personnel is kind.

Villaggio Stromboli is a hotel that is built on a rock at sea, with great views from the breakfast room over the sea, little rock island Strombolicchio, the beach etc. Over the years the hotel is spread with more rooms over more little streets, and with a central reception and restaurant. The way it is built, it all looks nice...

Enjoyed my stay here, the room was neat clean and tidy. The bathroom was new and perfectly clean. Room had air conditioning and all mod cons. Close to the beach for a swim in the hot weather, however the hotel was a good 10 minutes walk from the centre of town.

I think that this place has been cobbled together over time because it doesn't really have a feeling of cohesion. The rooms are located in various parts of what feels like a neighbourhood and require you to wander along some of the lanes to get to the bar, restaurant or breakfast room. Our room had a problem with rising damp,...
