The hotel Capo D’uomo has simple rooms, a bit too simple for the cost, €300 per day. However the sea view room has a breathtaking view, the most beautiful I have ever seen, alone worth the holiday. Some deckchairs and umbrellas are available to customers for free, but if you do not want to bake you have to go down early in the morning to occupy the shaded space. The hotel beach is beautiful, rocks with breathtaking water, the most beautiful part after the view from the room. The beach restaurant has excellent seafood cuisine. From the hotel you can walk to the center of Talamone to have dinner, the hotel in fact not for lunch or dinner. Breakfast instead is good and plentiful, especially served in a beautiful lawn overlooking the sea. Votes: sea view from room 10 and praise, what breakfast 8.5, sea 9, canere 6/7.

We will definitely return and recommend it to our loved ones. Five super deserved stars. We knew that the room (very clean) and the bathroom were small and with separate beds, but the space is very organized and we were really comfortable. The balcony is fantastic. In addition to the room, we appreciated all the spaces of the hotel, well-kept and spectacular given the location. Particular praise goes to the Staff, all kind, knowledgeable and helpful people. In short, a pearl...

I stayed in this beautiful hotel, which is located overlooking the sea. Friendly and polite staff. The room was clean, the bed was good and the bathroom and shower were excellent. There is also a minibar in the room. In the morning you can have breakfast both inside and outside in a small well-kept garden. The view is very beautiful and then coming down from the hotel you immediately find yourself in the restaurant street, to eat excellent fish. IT'S WORTHY TO ME

The location is unique, the staff extremely friendly and helpful
However, you have to book a 4-bed room if you want space.
Then you get the wonderful view and your own terrace
The entire complex is by no means barrier-free
The breakfast is not worthy of the relatively high room price

Enchanting location, rooms and garden directly overlooking the sea, with a view of the Talamone fortress! However, the room, although a "double king", was really small, especially the bathroom, tiny and without a shower cabin or bidet. Maybe a little too much for the price paid. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff!

This hotel is a bit hard to find without a GPS but once found it was excellent. Located by itself right on the Med it is still part of the town. The ocean view rooms are well worth the slightly extra cost. The breakfast was excellent. Private beach/cove was really nice

Response from Booking Office, Altro at Hotel Capo d'Uomo
Responded 16 Oct 2023
Dear Don R, We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. The hotel is located right by the sea and about 150mt from the historic center. The view is really wonderful, we agree with you. We are sorry that you had difficulty finding the hotel, maybe the navigator sent you to a wrong street? Talamone is really very small and you can generally retrieve the road in a few moments. We are waiting for you, cordial greetings, TCH Capo d'Uomo

Before booking at this property I had thoroughly informed myself on the internet, so we weren't too surprised once we arrived and found the room and bathroom not large in size but a little too small, but the terrace makes up for it all, a breathtaking view which from the Rocca di Talamone reaches well beyond the Island of Giglio. Finally I enjoyed the sunset of the moon in the sea and the dawn coloring the Rock, priceless sensations. Breakfast in the morning was very varied and consumed in the garden. Excellent parking a rarity in Talamone. Professional and very, very friendly service. We had a really good time, will return in the future, highly recommended.

This year is a comeback for us, because already last year we fell in love with this hotel. For several reasons: because it gives you a sense of home, for the breathtaking views, for the kindness of the staff, for breakfast overlooking the sea, and for access to the beach where you literally swim among the fish. The rooms are many small and do not have il.bidet, but we take them a little with the spirit of those on the boat.

check on the train website trenitalia to see if there is a train to where you want to go. If there are no trains ,unfortunately the only way is by car.
There are more places to choose from in the Talamone area.
