This hotel has a fantastic location with panoramic views of the gulf of Naples. The proximity of the train/ bus station only 5 mins away is also a massive bonus as Pompeii, Herculaneum, mount Faito and Naples are easily reached plus it’s only around 10/12 mins to get into the heart of Sorrento. Our room was clean, spacious and had an amazing terrace with a sea view, 2 sun loungers and a table & chairs plus it got the sun all day. If you went out sight seeing and got back and wanted to relax the terrace was peaceful and the views were amazing. It was however strange getting out as you had to climb a few steps and go out of your window but not a problem. Rooms were serviced daily and there’s a fridge for you to put a few drinks in.
We don’t normally go half board as we like to wander around and try things but we’re so glad we did at this hotel as the standard of service and selection at both breakfast and dinner was excellent. What made it even more pleasurable was the friendly greeting and helpful staff who made it their business to look after you well. Reception staff were friendly and professional but Vincenzo and his team in the restaurant were another level. I’ve got to give a special mention to Genaro , who always has a smile and looks genuinely pleased to see you every day, Nunzio, who was king of the barista coffees and just a lovely guy and last but not least Carlo and Cortello ( sorry for any spelling mistakes) who looked after us so well during our stay. We’ve enjoyed many beautiful sunsets through the panoramic windows in the restaurant.
We did worry the food would be boring and repetitive but it was different every night for 2 weeks so “Grazie Mille “to the chefs too. You pay the bar bill at the end of your stay but the prices were reasonable as a limencello spritz was €6 and so was a gin & tonic. Prices for drinks in Sorrento are way more and Amalfi and Capri prices are eye watering.
You can access the jacuzzi for 45/60 mins a day by booking at reception and this was lovely after a day out in the baking heat.
The bay is a walk down the hillside and you get 2 lounger vouchers per week with Tui and a courtesy bus is available from the hotel. The town of Vico itself is pleasant enough to walk around plus has some nice bars and restaurants worth a visit. All in all it’s a great base to explore the region from.

Wow !
The location in a small village just outside Sorrento beats it's local Almafi Coast by miles !

Gorgeous hotel that sits upon a cliff drenched with a back drop of hill side villages and monasteries that beats the typical tourist spots of this Area.(Private beach access included in price but not a fan of Italian Beaches in general but this is a reasonable one comparatively)

Breakfast is very generous and varied dosed with the usual Italian mix of moody waiters, yet friendly, and with chaotic organisation this created more of a show than any disappointment!

Reception was incredibly cordial and helpful . There was a guy with a beard behind reception who was incredibly multi functional and played many roles in making our stay exceptional !
( Bringing us beers to the Jacuzzi ,making banging campari &sodas ,and being nice!)

Expect 3 star prices and 4 .5 service .. not perfect but in terms of value 5Star !!!!!!!

So firstly I would like to mention Moriano the barman. His enthusiasm and friendliness actually helped drive up our rating for our stay. Evenings in this hotel were very quiet but Moriano linked his phone to speakers to play music and entertained guests with hotel and local information.

Positives of our stay: Our room was clean and comfy. Sunbeds right outside the room door that get sun all day. Jacuzzi can be booked to use with a great view. Free sunbed and umbrella on the beach. Easy access to Naples, pompei and sorrento.

Things to be aware of: The room shower is quite small but runs lovely. At breakfast the only hot food was eggs but you had to wait for staff to do this and they would take so long I stopped asking. They do however have a great cake selection. You could have fresh squeezed orange juice but again staff would be talking to each other so you would have to wait. Dinner at the hotel has a set menu and unfortunately was served cold, i would advise eating out at one of the lovely local restaurants. The hotel has no planned evening entertainment (Although Moriano kept us and other guests entertained and drinking.) Lastly the hotel is advertised as beachfront with private beach. The beach is a walk down the cliff to a section of beach. (A shuttle bus can be booked for this at no additional cost at certain times) but its definitely not as close as we thought.

All things considered, we would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Just returned from this hotel. Absolutely awful. THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!
The food is not cooked properly and is salty, and cold. We had complained about it and the staff, in particular Fabio said that other customers had not complained when they had. We spoke to other customers who were at the same hotel who had complained about the food who weren’t happy and nothing was done about it. Such liars the staff are and they don’t care about customers. It’s not even a proper hotel looks just like chalets. Not worth going there at all !! waste of money and such a disappointment. Towels in the room that were left by cleaners after cleaning the room were still dirty.

Big thank you to the management, reception staff, waiters and kitchen personnel for an amazing and beautiful experience at this wonderful hotel .

Stayed here for a week over the Easter period and was not disappointed. The friendly staff made me and my partner very welcome from the moment we arrived to the day we departed .

Only a minutes walk to the train station and 15 minutes on a train and you are in the centre of the beautiful Sorrento with its many Bars , bistros and fine selection of restaurants.

I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel set in the cliff tops of the town on Vico Equense over looking the sea and the bay of Naples . I shall be returning soon

Thank you to all for your warm hospitality and helping us have such a wonderful holiday

The hotel is fab in a great location, close to the train/bus station to go exploring around the Amalfi coast.

Beach not far within walking distance which is very nice, a few places to eat and drink near the beach, my favourite was Cinzias she was ever so friendly, you can get on the hotel shuttle bus or a public bus to the beach and back.

The town Vico had plenty of restaurants and bars and supermarkets, try the Gelato shop Gabriel I had the Brioche Bun with Gelato and fresh whipped cream which was delicious, we also tried Tito and Francos which did delicious pizza at a very affordable prices.

We went by Ferry from Sorrento to Capri which is alot cheaper doing it that way rather than booking through Tui. It cost about €55 each which included return ferry and a boat trip around the Island.

The staff in the hotel were ok, but preferred the Bar Man who doesn’t stop chatting😄 I hope he gets to read this lol.

Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here 7 nights on HB. Booked through Tui on a double room with limited sea view. Nice smallish room with tiny balcony overlooking the bay of Naples. Air con shower and the internet were excellent. Daily towel change and cleaning to a high standard .
Self serve mostly continental breakfast with cooked eggs on request . Evening meal served at table with choices from a three course menu. Bottle of house wine was €13 and decent.
Location is in a small town with a few bars and restaurants. Bus/ railway station is a two minute walk and is excellent for getting into Sorrento for €2 . We used the train then bus to get to Amalfi, Positano and Ravello . Fairly easy except for long queues for the buses . ( masks are required on buses) .
The hotel has a free shuttle bus and two beds with umbrella down at the lido ( beach area with dark gritty sand but sea fabulous and calm for swimming.
NB.Tui bookings contract with the hotel only facilitate two free days to the lido . We weren’t made aware of this when we booked this hotel .
All the staff on the reception ( With a particular mention to the manager ) bar, and restaurants were all lovely helpful people and made our holiday special .
We would like to return again and hope that Tui sort the two free days only rule for the lido into free access on a daily basis like with all other guests .

Please do not read OLD reviews, they are wrong with many inaccuracies. I gave 5* because it is not possible to give more.
Excellent ratio quality-price.
Hotel staff professional at all levels extremely professional, helpful and proactive even in challenging situations. Director (Simonetta), Reception (Fabio and Sara), Restaurant and bar (Giovanni and Antonio) are some.
Hotel is very clean, rooms confortable and fresh and it is located in a convenient location. Walking: 2 minutes from train station, 5 minutes from town centre, 5 min from beach (steep passage) .
To reach and to come back from the beach there is a free shuttle service running 5 times per day (only aspect could be improved in my view)
The hotel has a private and free beach managed by Francesco in a very friendly and safe way.
The hotel has free fast WiFi and private free car park
Very relaxing atmosphere with a view that you cannot forget

The hotel was a great place to stay in as it was two minutes walk away from the centre of town, overlooking the Bay of Naples with a view of the beach. The staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. Rooms were modern, comfortable and clean . We had breakfast and dinner included and the food was good and varied. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will stay again in the future.

Great location a few minutes walk to a train station. The hotel staff on reception and in the restaurant were very friendly. Receptions helpful with advise on getting around. Vico nice small town with nice bars and restaurants. Only criticism of the hotel is that if you wanted a drink late afternoon or pre dinner there is no one behind it and the hotel website promotes the bar. You have to wait for someone to come from restaurant . The station was very hand and we travelled by train a lot of days to visit the rest of the Italian coast and cities. Trains are so cheap compared to the UK. Great views from the hotel of the bay and Mount. Vesuvius.

I’m sorry if you’ve already gone on your trip but plug sockets were a bit of an issue as there’s 2 in the main bedroom area but our European 2 pin plugs didn’t fit them and there was 2 in the bathroom which they did fit so we charged everything in there. Hope that helps
