Our beatiful Villa Denise is located in the Penisola Sorrentina, a location with a wonderful view of the sea, of the mountains and of the romantic Golfo di Napoli with "his Majesty", the Vesuvio. From each parts of the villa you can see a unique and magnific landscape. The rooms are elegantly and tasteful decorated with forniture in '800 napolitan style, dotated of toilets, shower room, Tv, wifi internet connection.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.

This was our second visit to Villa Denise. We had previously visited pre covid in 2019 and have been waiting ever since to go back. I honestly didn’t think they could improve on anything but how wrong was I. The family have made some modifications to the property to include an al fresco eating area for breakfast and they now provide delicious fresh food options for lunch or supper. Breakfast is served on the terrace on beautiful tables with a spectacular view overlooking Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. The breakfast is extensive and delicious. Fresh omelettes. Cheeses and meats. Fresh tomatoes and fruits with cereals and yoghurts. Fresh croissants, rolls, pastries and every day some home made delicacy like cherry tart, rum babas, fresh pancakes…the list is endless. All rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed with comfortable beds, air conditioning, hairdryers, fridges, extra blankets and pillows and all with spectacular views. A beautiful pool with sun loungers, parasols and tables Cleanliness is exceptional. Location is fantastic. But if all this wasn’t enough the family that own and run Villa Denise are the jewel in the crown. They provide a shuttle service from the Villa to the local station which is four short stops from the centre of Sorrento and also to local restaurants. They really cannot do enough to ensure you have the best time. They welcome you into their home and treat you like family. Villa Denise is heaven and we shall hopefully be returning for many years to come

We have spent four marvellous days in paradise! Villa Denise is a B&B fantastic - we had comfortable, big room with a wonderful view over the Naples Bay and Vesuvius and the bathroom had everything you needed. The cleanliness was impeccable everywhere. A very good breakfast with high quality products made the start of the day perfect. Every detail, from the furniture of both the patio and the rooms, gave witness of the owners' delicate taste - even the plates and the coffee cups had been selected with "fingertip feel"! The Di Gennaro family made everything in a very natural way to make us feel at home; it is obvious that all three of them, Denise, Fabrizio and Giovanni, love their job. They give their guests shuttle service to the parking, which is situated 10 minutes walk away, however the route is a bit steep so you need to put on good walking shoes, but that is needed for your visits in the surroundings (Pompeii, Capri etc) anyway. The villa was absolutely beautiful and Fabrizio, and his parents looked after us to perfection! The villa itself was in a stunning location with views across the Naples Gulf. Breakfasts were plentiful if you wanted them to be with an added advantage that dinner was available if required (all tasting superb) . Rooms were clean and comfortable (cleaned every day). Villa Denise was everything we wanted it to be, providing us with a home whilst sightseeing the Sorrento - Vico Equense coastline. The villa is exquisite, the grounds are beautifully planted and maintained, the rooms are traditional and in keeping with the property also very well maintained. You get a feeling for the time your there your part of it, it’s so easy going, come and go as you please and respect where you are that’s what we took from our time there. But the best part of Villa Denise is the family, Fabricio, Denise and Giovanni. Fabricio is the son of the family and does everything to make your stay perfect. Denise and Giovanni look after breakfasts (and lots more I’m sure) which is superb. If like us you want to get away from either a boring airbnb or a heartless hotel then go to Villa Denise, amazing character, beautiful views and Giovanni pottering in the garden. Ditto on everything positive that has been said. We loved Villa Denise and the dear Family that runs it. Loved our view of Vesuvius and Gulf of Naples from the bedroom window - stunning view!. Loved the clean immaculate entire estate. Loved the calm and peaceful surroundings - the pool, the landscaping, the furniture, etc. I could not get over all of the cacti and plants around the place and how well every inch is taken care of. Denise is lovely. Giovani makes yummy little omelets for breakfast. There is not a place to park nor could you get a regular car through those tiny streets to get there so Fabrizio drove us to our car parked closed by everyday. They are working on an alternate driveway so this may change, however, our drives in the car with Fabrizio were part of the wonderful experience. It is about a 20 minute drive to Sorrento which is a great city and a place to grab a food tour and the ferry if you want. We also went to Herculaneum about an hours drive away. We stayed 4 nights and it was not enough.

We've visited Villa Denise for two nights. Everything starting from helping to get there (narrow roads) was fantastic. Our hosts and owners-Ms. Denise, her husband and their son-Fabrizio are wonderful, helpful and charming people.
Lodging was great with an amazing view over Napoli and Vico Equense.
Owners did their best to make our short stay as comfortable as possible. Home made dishes for breakfast (dolci) were fantastic, they were helpful and kind in every manner.
Location of Villa Denise is great and everything about this place is worth visiting.
We recommend Villa Denise to everybody.

My review is a tad late but this B&B is just absolutely lovely! We got lost looking for it, and I should have paid more attention to the meeting point, which was the Ristorante Della Amici off the main highway. The parking is across the street from the restaurant, which serves delicious food as well, by the way. One of the family members and staff picked us up to go to their place which offers a spectacular view of the gulf of Naples. The B&B is super quaint and Denise welcomed us with homemade pastries and limoncello. They drive us down to our parking space and pick us up any time! An amazing time we had there, and it's a must stay for seasoned travelers. Amateur travelers might find it a bit challenging to get to, but I think it's well worth it.
