Vico Equense is a lovely small town three stops outside Sorrento. It has a very good choice of restaurants in walking distance. Rooms without balcony can use a lovely communal balcony to relax and enjoy the view. It is a minute from the station. The hotel provided very useful timetable of the train and Sita bus services. Very clean. The breakfast was very good.

Stayed here for 4 nights when visiting the Amalfi Coast. The town of Vico Equense is perfect and much cheaper than staying in other towns. The hotel is situated on the coast and the train station is a 1 minute walk. The staff were lovely and very helpful, breakfast was good and room was spacious and clean. I would recommend staying here. Be mindful that the trains are unreliable and stop quite early sometimes, so if you are in Sorrento you may need to get a taxi back which will be expensive.

The hotel was in a very cute little town just couple of stops before Sorento, stunning view and very clean and nice room, there is a nice terrace between rooms so no matter which room you get you can still go sit outside and enjoy. Mr Luigi did amazing job during breakfast, which makes you feel so welcomed and so does the staff at the reception. I really recommend the place, if you would like to be in a place which is not over priced and yet clean, nice and convenient for transportation, since it’s just across the street from the train station (and which for a change didn’t make the area sounds dodgy but in the contrary it added to its benefit) this is the place to be… after all it’s only for sleeping

Clean, convenient and modern. However, the hotel lacks some luxury. No welcome water or drink in the foyer. No bottle of water in the room. 1 pillow person, no accent soft furnishing in the room. Very basic.
The wifi was the worst we’ve ever experienced travelling. And due to the geography of the hotel/our room 3G/4G was also not accessible.
Don’t be mislead by other reviews. The complementary bus to the beach isn’t there and even though the hotel boasts that it manages the beach club on their welcome leaflet there’s no discount given to the hotel guest. It’s still €47 for two beds and an umbrella for the day that you book yourself online.
Over all our stay was fine but just fine.

Just spent a week in this hotel which I found comfortable, pretty and very clean. The whole staff is very warm and welcoming : a real pleasure !
I couldn’t experience the breakfast as it was not available at this time (COVID…) but found everything I needed with locals 5min walking distance.
On the possible improvements, I join other reviews concerning the sound insulation which could be better.

Located just outside Vico Equense station, the hotel overlooks the Gulf of Naples with Mount Vesuvius in the backdrop. The staff was warm and helpful both before and during our stay. With a great price and nice breakfast, this is an ideal place to stay during your visit to Sorrento, Amalfi coast and Pompeii.

Just spent 3 nights in this hotel with some friends.
The views from this hotel are amazing and it is lovely and clean. Beds made and room cleaned every day.
The staff here are very warm and welcoming. Especially the gentleman that works the night shift. They helped us book our taxi back to Naples airport which only takes 30 minutes btw.
The buffet breakfast was substantial.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay near Pompeii and Sorrento.

We really enjoyed our stay in Vico. The rooms were very nice and the location of the hotel is brilliant for trips with the local train. Just make sure to make a reservation in the local beach clubs aswell. All in all we highly recommend staying in Astoria Vico Hotel!

We had extended the reservation 2 times because we liked this place. The hotel is conveniently located. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice sea view. Fresh and stylish interior. Varied and tasty breakfast. Friendly personnel. Especially thank Adelia she is so cut and attentive was taking care about us all time staying.

Liked · Forget going to Sorrento. This hotel was amazing. Staff was excellent. They were very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable..The area was breathtaking. Great restaurants within walking distance. plus the Tran station is an easy walk of 4 minutes up the hotel.

The best way to get the Hotel Astoria from Naples Capodichino airport is to take a bus.
Outside the airport you will easly find it.
The name is Curreri and it stops in Vico Equense near the Hotel.
The ticket cost is 10,00 euro per person per way and it takes about 1 hour and half.
Here following the time of departure from Naples Aiport 09.00 - 11.00 - 12.00 - 13.00 - 14.30 - 16.30 - 18.00 - 19.30
(you can buy the ticket on the bus!)

Sie können das Hotel mit dem Bus leicht erreichen.
Vor dem Flughafen finden Sie den Curreri Bus, der in der Nähe von dem Hotel hält.
Es gibt ein Bus um 14.30 Uhr vom Neapel Flughafen oder der naechste Bus ist um 16.30 Uhr.
Der Curreri Bus von Vico Equense bis Neapel Flughafen hält 100mt weit von dem Hotel, gegenüber Curreri Reisebüro.
Die Fahrkarte kostet 10,00 Euro pro Person pro Richtung und die Reise dauert etwa 1 Stunde.
Oder können wir auch einen Taxi für sie reservieren.

Die Amalfi-Küste ist leicht erreichbar mit dem Auto oder mit dem Bus. Die Busse fahren von der Bahnhof von Sorrento.
Ihr Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Vico Equense, in der Nähe der Bahnhof. Mit dem Zug können sie leicht Sorrento erreichen. Die Reise dauert zirka 10 Minuten und die Fahrkarte kostet 1,80 € pro Person. Vor Sorrento Bahnhof finden sie die Busse für Amalfi und Positano.

buongiorno dall' hotel Astoria di vico Equense,
la spiaggia dista 800m dalla spiaggia , alla quale si può accedere a piedi (10 minuti) o con la navetta che passa ogni ora ( 9,00-10,00-11,00-12,00-13,00-15,00-16,00-17,00-18,00-18,45).
il check out è alle ore 11,00 , ma se ha bisogno di lasciare i bagagli in albergo non c'è alcun problema.
inoltre le ricordo che La spiaggia dispone di docce calde, bagni, spogliatoi, bar e ristorante.
