This is great family campsite - plenty of privacy from the pitches, all a reasonable size, many with electric but the main thing is the relaxed vibe, nice people who stay and the very chilled out patron/ne. Also a bread shop/ pizza resto right next to the site and a 10 minute walk to lac de Vouglans for a swim......

We found this by chance after staying at a not so nice campsite in St Claude. I emailed late at night and my booking was confirmed there and then. When we arrived it was perfect. Lovely clean and spacious site next to the Lake. The owner was very helpful and cheery. Beautiful site perfect for touring the surrounding area which...

This is a great family site in a perfect location for exploring Lac De Vouglans and the surrounding areas. Really reasonable pitch prices & plenty of space on all the pitches. Great facilities and a lovely little pool. The restaurant/bar just next to the site is great for a quick snack with amazing views across the lake.

We've stayed here on four occasions, three times with a tent and once in a log cabin. The location is rural and pretty and the campsite spacious. We can't think of many places better to enjoy a cold beer than at the next door restaurant gazing at the blue lake.

The campground itself has the nicest campsites we've ever seen : surrounded by lots of green. It's very good located - 10 minutes walk from the lac de Vouglans - although it's a steep path going down there. We hired a chalet which was able to take 5 people. The chalet itself was good and all the basic stuff you...

We have just returned from 2 weeks camping at Trelachaume. What a truly magical place. The campsite is beautiful - most definitely a hidden treasure - quite closely guarded secret of the Dutch, French and Germans. The owners were extremely welcoming and very helpful. Lots to do around the area - the lake is very clean and surpirsingly warm at...

We searched for information about this area last year prior to our visit in July-August and there was virtually nothing. Hopefully this will give some comfort to those thinking about going in the future. We are in our mid-forties and went without children with a view to walking. We stayed at a camp-site at Maisod called Trelachaume [--]. This was...
