My husband and I stayed at this hotel in Cabin 1 and were so glad we came across this hotel and were able to secure a room for us. We stayed there for 1 night in end Oct 2017, en route our own trip of...More
This is some interesting, quirky place, and in a good way. Sod roof, skylights in the room, and a reindeer skin on the bed. Viking motif that gets pulled off without being kitschy, or overdone. The grounds are beautiful, the fjord view is magnificent and...More

Hi Kimberly, when I booked this accommodation online I was given the options to choose room with breakfast and room without breakfast so we went with the breakfast option as there are no other hotels in that area to have breakfast especially as we wake up first thing next morning. Regarding your question about "the car is left at the ferry" can you explain what you mean by that but if I understand your question correctly you can take your car on the ferry for the ride to say Flam but you cant leave it on the ferry overnight. There is heaps of parking at the Gudvangen Fjordtell accommodation for you to park overnight. Hope this answers your queries.
