Stayed here several times this year whilst working in Milan area, most recently for 2 weeks. Staff here are great - they literally do it all; check in, bar tending, food preparation. Rooms are typical Moxy, basic but comfortable Food much improved this stay but also great Sushi/noodle place 2 mins walk away Would recommend
If you need to fly in and out of Linate, this is a perfect choice. Clean, nice bar, Mariott Reward points. Rooms are comfortable and offer good soundproofing. It is walking distance from the airport although with some luggage you might be tempted to catch a taxi (a Eur.15 rip-off for 2 mins ride!). That's what the hotel is missing, a free ride to and from the airport.
I would recommend this hotel without any reservations whatsoever. We had an extremely positive experience with this hotel, primarily due to its amazing staff, and particularly Mary. We booked the hotel, based on TA reviews, for the night before we were to fly out of Milan. When we checked in, however, we discovered that we had left our passports at our hotel in Salò. Mary took an interest and repeatedly called our previous hotel in an effort to get them to bring us the passports so that we would not have to drive back to Salò. She ultimately persuaded them to meet us in Brescia, roughly half-way from Salò. We are deeply grateful for her help. The hotel itself is clean and modern and reasonably priced. The room was sufficiently spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless and well stocked. It lacked a refrigerator and safe, but that was not unexpected given that this is a hotel primarily for transitions rather than extended stays. The hotel is very near the airport, but the room was very quiet. The hotel has a full bar, meeting rooms and a pool table. Breakfast was pretty standard, but well-prepared with a good variety of options and a good coffee machine. Parking is free and on-site. …
After a 2 1/2 week northern Italy vacation in apartments, four of us needed hotel rooms for one night at Linate Airport prior to an early morning departure. All requirements were met or exceeded. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the rooms are modern, quiet and clean. There is no traditional restaurant at this property. Rather, pre-made meals are heated in the bar's turbo-oven. The quality, presentation and taste is surprisingly good. Prices are very reasonable under the circumstances. Full cocktail and coffee service are also available here in the hip and modern lobby. While you could walk to the airport terminal in about ten minutes, I wouldn't recommend it. In looking closely at that option, there is only a sidewalk the first half of the walk; the second half you would literally be walking along the busy roadway without benefit of sidewalks or crosswalks. Rather, we relied on a taxi, which as promised by the hotel, arrives 5-10 minutes after being summoned, and which cost is approximately 10 Euros. Great experience; highly recommended.…
Comfortable, modern and tidy. We stayed over on our way to Lake Garda - we landed in Milan at half six and have a six year old so decided to stay here beforehand. Hotel was tidy, quiet and really loved the decor. We had a comfortable room with two big beds - almost a small suite. Son thought having his own tv was awesome! Breakfast was good with a selection of cereals and pastries. Staff were very pleasant too. Great place to stop over and so close to the airport.
Fantastic hotel! I checked in after 24 hours of travel. I took a cab from Linate. Airport, however please note that this property is within walking distance of the airport. I really appreciate that, as the next morning I was able to walk back to the airport for my next flight. The walk is about 10 minutes. If you’re landing late at night I do recommend a taxi, Although the neighborhood seem very safe. I’ve stayed at a lot of Moxy Properties and this one was nice and continued the reputation of great hotels! The breakfast was my favorite part, many gluten-free options, very clean. The room provided a wonderful night sleep. The rooms don’t have telephones, I’ve never noticed this at another Moxy property, there is a button should you require immediate assistance, but I think a telephone would be easier to contact the front desk, especially since they are so helpful. Still think it was a wonderful stay though.…
I find this hotel extremely stress-free. I mean, let’s face it, all you want the night before your flight is a good night’s sleep, right? Worth its weight in gold. Rooms are clean, basic and modern-looking and I love the nice touch of the floor light that’s under the bed. When you have to make a midnight jaunt to the restroom, the clever little under bed light comes on to light your way and not wake you up. A/C is whisper quiet and keeps a steady temperature, another feature that will help keep a light sleeper like me comfortably asleep. The blackout curtains work wonderfully as well. Getting to the hotel, as other reviewer have mentioned, can be just a little challenging. Once you learn how to walk there, you’ll see that walking is an excellent choice. I’ve stayed here when their shuttle was running, and that is handy, and I’ve stayed here when it was not. I find that walking is fine for me, but I understand that folks with a ton of luggage can’t do this easily. The problem is that Milanese cab drivers do charge a minimum. So, on a 6 euro fare, they might have to charge you 14 euro. Ouch. To get the the center of Milan, the handy number 73 bus runs every 10 minutes from the airport all day every day. It does stop running around 8 or 9pm, so do check if you are a night owl. Food and drink—the breakfast is a full breakfast, not just pastries. As for the other food, it’s “basic” . The staff here are all very sweet.…
I chose to stay here the night before my departure at LIN because the flight departed at 7am and I wanted to be at the airport by 4 (just in case). I got almost no sleep because people were were standing outside talking loudly and smoking around 1 or 2 in the morning. Since it was almost time for me to rise, I didn't complain. When I checked out, I was surprised to learn it was the staff (and others, not sure if they were guests or additional staff). I am giving a low rating for this reason. A paying guest should expect a peaceful night of sleep without having to call the front desk -- especially if it's the staff who is disturbing the peace. I stayed in room 228, so my recommendation is to request a room that does not face the parking lot. Also, there is no shuttle to the airport, but the walk is less than 10 minutes.…
Firstly, you can walk to their hotel if you head towards the large car park tower to the right as you exit the airport. A taxi will be 18euros. Next, the air con wasn't working an the rooms were like saunas! We couldn't get a straight answer from the staff why the halls were cooler than the room. They recommended to open the window which only dropped the temp by a few degrees. The rooms are tight but all well appointed and the beds are comfortable. There is a decent menu for meals and loads of beverage options.
I flew to Milan for work and was lucky enough to stay at the moxy hotel right next to Linate airport. The staff were brilliant and the accommodation were great! Clean, stylish and perfect for solo trips to anyone with a family. Would 100% recommend staying at the moxy hotel Milan Linate.
