Easy check -in. Delicious natural welcome drink. Breathtaking view of mountains. Rooms are extremely cleaned, spacious and well-equipped with all amenities. Excellent food with great service and mesmerizing view from restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Misty mountains and evening sun set was very dramatic. Enjoyed our stay to the fullest!

I checked into this place on Christmas Day 2020. Everything from Parking itself was an utter disaster. Not enough space for even a small car to turn. Have to go in reverse if you have to park further down. 20 minutes in and you have pretty much covered everything this place has to offer. Green artificial grass area is probably the only good thing they have going on. I booked a full board package. Dinner was terrible. The chef probably has not seen a proper buffet before. The limited number of dishes available were barely edible. My wife who didn't eat meat had nothing proper to eat. When asked for a separate dish, I was referred to a so called front office manager who didn't know how to speak to a guest and kept blabbing about how he has been to many hotels and that he sees nothing wrong with the meals. Must mention he had a poor attitude. Finally after more than half hour of waiting they gave a seafood noodle portion which was worse than the rest. My wife practically slept hungry. The lady whom I booked through was also present and apologized and promised a better service the following day. Come next morning, unfortunately for them or for me, hot water in both our rooms weren't available. After about an hour of trying to fix it and failing miserably, they asked us to use a different room but were adamant we don't use anything other than the washroom. We were traveling with my 1 year old baby daughter and it is needless to say how inconvenient everything was, for which the staff had no consideration whatsoever. It was passed 9.30 when all this was over and we had properly had it by then. We didn't want to stay one more second in this place. Checked out without even having breakfast and we only paid 50% which in my opinion was far too generous after having barely a meal.

We booked 3 nights at the property. The check in experience was easy and all Covid guidelines are adhered to. Our rooms were clean and the beds were great and of course the view is amazing. It was Poya weekend and the hotel was full with families and all meals after our first night (when we were the only guests) were therefore banquet style. The quality of the food was good and we were concerned on our second night there may be some all night partying when we saw someone take a huge speaker from their car (!) however there was complete silence after 10pm. A good experience overall.

We could only stay for one night however wished we could have stayed longer. Out of the way but definitely worth the extra mileage. Wonderful views from a well appointed and beautifully decorated bedroom. Staff were polite and attentive. Due to fewer people coming to the country, after the Easter trouble in Colombo, we chose from a menu for dinner and breakfast. Not a particularly wide choice but tasty, very accommodating for dietary requirements. Would recommend this hotel for a short stay out for a few days without hesitation.

It was a lovely weekend with Family. little distance from Colombo but you will not regret going all that distance. Food was so good. we had to choose the courses from the menu but every item of food was so classy and presented nicely. Also the restaurant view is so beautiful. Cold whether is so relaxing too. Rooms are spacious and 5 star quality rooms. We came from Jetwin St Andrews hotel and this hotel was much better. we wanted to stay few more days.
