We stayed there just 1 night after getting convinced by Marco at the harbour upon arrival by hydrofoil. I asked to see a couple of rooms but I did not want to stay on the groundfloor and had to settle for a first floor room but with shared balcony. So you could never leave your balcony doors open when away...

Very Basic Hotel well priced in town. Family run with pool and tunes. Rooms are dark and air conditioned great for sleeping during the day . Drinks are cheap and the pool bar is open untill 12 every night.

Basic rooms with a bed & bathroom, not much space. Our room wasn't overly clean on arrival & there was a bit of mould on the shower curtain, but it's cheap. Location is fantastic, short walk to the town centre & laundromat right next door. Staff were friendly & helpful & there is a free transfer to & from the...

This review comes a bit late, but back in 2009 I stayed at Marcos. I was travelling with 5 other friends and we ended up walking off the ferry on the island of Ios looking for a place to stay. At Marcos, they were INCREDIBLY accomodating, finding us a room for all 6 plus a kitchen to use (whcih we...

My wife and I stayed at the Markos Village Hotel in early June 2012. George and Maria who own the hotel treated us like family. We were greeted by George as we arrived on the ferry for the free ride from the port to the hotel. The Markos is in the perfect location right across the street from the main...

I stayed in Marcos Village last year and I had a fantastic time. Giorgos picked me up from the port and he tried to give me information for every hot spot of Ios, on our way back to the hotel. Marcos Village is located in the centre from where you can have direct access to supermarkets, restaurants and night life....

I liked the pool area with all the amenities to help you relax, unwind. Staff were very friendly & the accomodation was good value for money. It had everything that was needed, the room was clean and big, the area is great, located in the center only a few meters away from the clubs and bars. George is great, he...

I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely hotel. The FREE INTERNET use and WiFi was a bonus! I have been here in Ios on many occasions, and have stayed at some of the more famous resorts......but they were all too noisy.......and so expensive.....I suggest staying in the village (not the beach)as its such a long walk home after...
