We have stayed at the Hostellerie du Chateau on a number of occasions - the latest visit being in early June 2013. We keep returning because in our opinion Alsace is arguably the most attractive region of France and Eguisheim in turn, the prettiest village in the region - the wine is pretty good too! Over a number of years... More

Hostellerie Du Chateau is a small hotel with 10 rooms situated in a very quiet location in the centre of Eguisheim. Car parking is available for one car only, however the helpful manager will leave the building to guide you to available places on the street. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It is away from main roads which makes... More

Had a wonderful 10 night stay at the Hostellerie du Chateau for a business trip. The hotel was at the center of the village, and in walking distance to all of the restaurants and sites in town. Definitely on my list of places to return for vacation!

We loved our 3 night stay at this hotel. The staff are real pros who have that rare gift of knowing when to assist and also when to be inobtrusive. The location is fantastic, the rooms are terrific and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. We felt that our valuables were completely safe here, something that was not always a given... More

At the last minute, we decided to forego Colmar on our Alsatian wine tour and use Eguisheim as a base for the lower part of the Route du Vin trip. Read about Eguisheim and this hotel on Trip Advisor and it was the BEST MOVE! We stayed for two wonderful days and totally enjoyed the town, the wine shops, the... More

Great central location in a quaint medieval albeit tourist route village. We arrived at 2pm and the place was closed - not to worry, we looked for a place to eat. Returned at 2.30pm and the host informed us that our room was not ready and we would have to wait for an hour. No problem but d be aware... More

Equisheim is a good place to start the Route de Vin if you're starting from Basel Airport. I think that this hotel is far too expensive considering what you get. Our room was the same one photographed on the booking.com site but was much smaller and less luxurious than it looked on the site. I was very disappointed with The... More

We loved this little hotel right at the main square of Eguisheim. The hosts are very friendly, have great tips and provide a nice breakfast in the morning. The rooms are clean and we slept well on the beds. The interior is in good shape but I think it would be time for a more modern update. The location is... More

This hotel is so charming inside and out. Our room was spacious and looked ot onto the main town square fountain and flowers. We had a mini-bar in the room. The bathroom was clean and spacious with a nice soaking tub. The lobby and breakfast room were very inviting. Breakfast was delicious and worth the extra cost. Parking and nearby,... More

This hotel is perfectly located within the small village of Eguisheim and has free public parking just around the corner. The serve an excellent little breakfast buffet and staff were both friendly and helpful. Eguisheim is a picturesque place to spend a day and this great little hotel is a perfect place to stay.
