We stopped here on our way back to the UK from Italy, it is a magical town and was very quiet as so off season, which we thought was a bonus. The hotel was about to close for the season the next day so it was pretty empty. It was comfortable and the breakfast simple and delicious.

We stayed for one night during our Alsace trip and we totally enjoyed this small and authentic boutique hotel. Situated in the heart of Riquewihr it offers an authetic experience which we will not forget. Everything has its certain level of historical value and old-school style starting from the bar in the basement and finishing with the rooms. This was...

Stay here one night on our Alsace trip. No big complaints except no coffee in room and bed was harder than most. The staff were helpful and the hotel very charming. We only ordered coffee instead of breakfast but the food looked fresh.

The hotel is in a great location within Riquewihr. The hotel is quaint with lots of local decor. We booked a room with a private parking space. Once we arrived at the town, we had no idea how to get inside the walls. The map provided by the hotel showed arrows going through "no entrance" areas and the private parking...

Its as beautiful if not cuter in person then the pictures online. Had an amazing room overlooking the champage vineyards and the rooms were very spacious. Loved the old charm of the wood beams in the room with the brand new bathrooms. The staff could not have been nicer in the hotel. Could not say the same for the staff...

The L'Oriel is a charming small hotel tucked not a side "street" in the most beautiful little village on the Alsace "wine route". Darling little lobby and sweetest little breakfast room, with all Alsace linens and dishes, and a wonderful full breakfast buffet included. Very comfortable room, with beautifully updated bathroom and the nicest shower of any hotel we have...

My wife and I (with 2 grown sons in tow) stumbled upon Riquiwihr generally, and the Hotel L'Oriel specifically in October 2015. The experience was so fantastic, when the opportunity arose to return in May 2016 we jumped on the chance. So we've been to Hotel L'Oriel twice in one year. We almost never return to the same (lodging) location...

To see Riquewihr you need at least two days. Found this hotel on-line with the good reviews here on Trip Advisor. Hard to find, on small - 5 buildings long side "street" off "no traffic" main street that goes thru center of town, Decide to drive it even with the bad glanses from tourists, pulled in narrowly past some construction...

We had a great 4 night stay in this hotel. We had the suite, room 23, and it was lovely - comfy bed, great bathroom and living room with tea & coffee making facilities. The furnishings were traditional which were in keeping with the building. They also have parking, which is essential if you're visiting Riquewihr as it is very...

Stayed here with my family of four that includes two teens. Was a perfect size room. Very cute hotel in the charming village of Riquiwhir. Can reserve parking nearby which is helpful. Ate tarte flambée at a nearby restaurant. Very tasty and not to be missed while in the Alsace region.
