If only we could have stayed longer!! Our one night experience could not have been better from the very friendly and helpful welcome, to the personalised breakfast quality and service the very next morning. A most beautiful and ideal country setting three minutes out of Brantome. Our rooms (including the bathroom) were spacious and most comfortable. If not for a...

What a beautiful place and what wonderful personal attention from the owners. I was sorry we couldn't stay longer. The food was excellent although we found the wine a little pricey. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Make sure you stay more than one night. Brantome is delightful and not particularly busy even in the height of the season unlike...

Wonderful, the setting, the room, the staff and management, an the food. We had three nights in the beautiful hotel, the weather was perfect so we were able to relax by the pool, then enjoy a stroll into Brantome. Family run, the food was delicious, breakfast is served to you, NO BUFFET thank goodness. Fruit, crepes, yogurt, pastries, eggs and...

This fabulous hotel, situated on the river just outside Brantome is a real find. Several generations of the family play a part in making guests feel special (even the young son serving the breakfast crepes) and every detail is thought of to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with luxurious bathrooms and the river and parkland...

One could not wish for more beauty, hospitality, charm or class than this romantic country establishment on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Brantome, in the heart of the Dordogne. I can only hope that the family that so lovingly restored this old mill house and is running it now is still in charge in a few years when...

Our stay was to celebrate a special occasion and this hotel certainly made it so. We stayed in Amelie, a ground floor suite with a terrace facing the pool. We were welcomed as we parked our car by the charming owner. She took us on a short tour of the stunning hotel, pointing out the restaurant, two small bridges over...

Where do I start with Le Moulin de Vigonac? I think the drive there. You see, we were travelling up from Bilbao via San Sebastian in Spain. We had booked a table for the evening in the restaurant and I rang ahead as we left San Sebastian with what the satnav said would be our arrival time. I was hesitant...

A beautiful hotel in wonderful surroundings . Words can not accurately describe our experience as this hotel was just so perfect as it is always the little touches that make such a difference. The owners and staff were so gracious and we were blown away by their attention to detail. We would like to thank them and hope to stay...
