Giving this hotel three stars (which it has) is an example of grade inflation. The rooms are small, which is okay, but some don't have any air conditioning at all. Mine didn't and it was in the mid 80's F. The place was full so I wasn't offered a different room. I didn't even get a fan. It is just...

This hotel is about a ten minute walk to the medieval centre of a remarkable town. We stayed for three nights in mid-April. While the room we had seemed rather small and the elevator only held about 3 people, the facilities were on the whole just fine. The breakfasts were more than adequate with a good variety of breads, croissants,...

My wife and I, experienced travelers, arrived late one night in earky May. Our very clean large and comfortable double room was held till midnight, while we found a good place to eat in medieval and popular Sarlat. Mme. Marie, the proprieter and manager could not have been nicer and looked after our every request with a smile and often...

This is a very recently renovated Best Western Hotel that has been renovated beautifully and gives excellent value for money. The reception staff were very friendly, the quality and size of the rooms excellent. A nice easy 5 minute walk to the incredibly amazing town of Sarlat which has an incredible number of 14th and 15th century buildings. Sarlat is...

We found this hotel to be very clean and very comfortable. We were given a room in the newly refurbished annexe, which was great. It's a good base to explore this superb old town and is only a few minutes to walk into the centre. Although the hotel has no car park, we had no trouble getting parked in a...

Well located hotel with outdoor pool just a short walk from the medieval centre of Sarlat. We had a very good room with a view over the pool in the newer building and found it peaceful and comfortable. Good-sized bathroom, very clean. No parking but we found a street space fairly near. There is a short stay drop-off space by...

The hotel is OK, but the lack of parking lot was a problem. The breakfast and the room are great, but the glasses and plates could be cleaner. They offer a free safe, but mine was broken. I was promissed to have it fixed the next day, and it didn´t happen. Aurelie was very very attentive, but didn´t solve the...

the hotel is best placed to visit Sarlat on foot. Being on the edge of the old town the buz of the very busy weekend market won't wake you up. The room we got was the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in. it had all the comforts. highly reccomended!

This hotel is advertised as a 3 star hotel which offers both English and German language service (in addition to French). Upon our arrival, we were disappointed in the exterior condition of the hotel. It was on the dirty side, stained stucco, damaged tile walks and torn awnings. Not a good impression. Parking is a pain with little to no...
