The Rollinger Family greet us with a beautiful note with shortbread biscuits and tea to sip on our balcony… “You are now between the sea and the sky. Take in the weather and the wind Take time to watch tide flow in and out Walk in the park to discover the Ferme du Vent” with Kled & Celtic Bergamot **...

Our deluxe sea-view room called Galangal (each of the hotel’s rooms is named after a spice) in the main building was spacious, high-ceilinged, very attractively furnished, and gave a front-and-center view of the front lawn and the beach and sea beyond (with Mont-Saint-Michel visible in the distance). The large bay window invited a refreshing sea breeze. All staff at the...

Great location, stunning views and a luxurious chateau. The service was excellent and unobtrusive. The spa next door makes the stay even more special and adds a touch of class. One of our favourite places to relax.

This is such a gorgeous hotel. Tucked away seemingly in the middle of nowhere and suddenly you'll come up to this beautiful chateau which overlooks an incredible beach - those tides really are spectacular. Highly recommend a walk down on the beach if you can, it's almost prehistoric and unlike anything we've seen before. We were the tiniest bit disappointed...

My wife and I stayed for one night with dinner and breakfast at this excellent hotel. The hotel pride themselves on sourcing all their food from the area. Our dinner was superb with oysters from Cancale, lamb raised on the salt marshes, an incredible cheese board and an unbelievable sweet trolley, I managed five different sweets, all amazing. The hotel...

We like and often stay in Relais & Châteaux properties, and the expectations are always very high. And they were met by Chãteau Richeux, just because the fundamentals are so right and there is no need for gimmicks: nice historic building, peaceful location, room and dining room comfortbale but very simple in their decorations, very friendly service and - last...

We are a retired professional couple who have been lucky enough to stay in many beautiful hotels, including a number of Relais et Chateaux, over the years. We've also enjoyed many trips to France. Chateaux Richeux was one of those rare experiences of near perfection. Our room was quite beautiful-- very large and full of light with unobstructed sea views...

I truly think I will remember this experience for the rest of my life. We only stayed one night, but my dream is to go back. Our room was spacious with a large bay window/french doors opening to a patio overlooking the beautiful countryside. The view from the other side of the room was the bay, with the tide coming...

I read other reviews and I respectfully disagree. Our room was fabulous both in size and in amenities: fruit, cookies, sherry and all the bathroom products you could want . The meal was excellent and the service could not have been better.

Great food as usual from Chateau Richeux. The ambiance is great and the tasting menu incredible. I also tasted the sweetbreads and it was great. Its great to start with a great bottle of Champagne, I recommend the Veuve Cliquot, with some great petite fours. Then a great bottle of Chassagne Montrachet (Magnum) and just sit and enjoy. Leave space...
