Friendly staff, really welcoming. Good location close to the harbour and the Cité de la Voile. Free public parking. Comfortable room, new and clean. Good phonic insulation / outside. Shutters that really blind the window : very good sleep. Nice breakfast with local products.

Everything was perfect : hotel well located for our planned activities, bedding, very quiet room, breakfast, very friendly reception, and tips, especially for restaurants all located nearby. The hotel is a nice place to be and we will probably come back.

The owners were charming, the hotel throughout was spotlessly clean, our room was spacious and comfortable. Overall an outstanding hotel which I would return to in a heartbeat. Although parking was on the road, there were plenty of options and the hotel was surrounded by a host of restaurants. Ideal location for both the Eric Tabarly and submarine museum.

We stayed for two nights in July when the Tour de France was in Town and regard Inter-Hotel Lorient Les Océanes as a lucky find. We had a very pleasant and clean room, albeit up two flights of stairs with no lift but the hotel was within a fifteen minute walk of the Town Centre. Breakfast was good and plentiful and good value. We arrived quite late but the Manager, who was on reception, very helpfully ‘phoned a local restaurant (La Brasserie du Coin) to check they were still serving. Parking is possible on the wide pavement, both in front of the hotel and across the road. A good stay.

Nothing special about the place. Clean room and big but cold. Friendly staff. I don't know if the hotel or the city but everything felt deserted, The restaurants on the street were on our first evening there closed(Sunday) and on Monday just 2 opened. The city center is far away and walking there is not an option because you pass some creepy looking areas. Lorient has nothing to offer so I would not recommend a visit but if you do need a night the hotel is not a bad option. Breakfast was good and worth the money.

This was a stopping point on our journey but what a little gem. A husband and wife team, they were so lovely. There was no lift but it did not just deserve a two star, it was fantastic. The breakfast was lovely. I would recommend this hotel. Lovely soft white towels and bedding.

Room Tip: Hotel sits on a busy road during the day but quite at night. No lift so ask for the 1st floor.

We only stayed one night but the family who run the hotel were wonderful, great breakfast and they sent us to Chez Gino best Italian restaurant in the whole of France which was about half a block away. The hotel has a little bar area which is nice to have a drink at instead of going to your room only does breakfast.

I have stayed here five consecutive years in September it is very clean with ocean views at the front the breakfast and evening meal menu is very good and high quality . Drinks and wine are reasonable priced for a hotel, there is also a nice swimming pool and hot tub free to use ,well worth a visit.

I stayed in the Hotel Les Oceans from 27th to 30th September 2015. This is a basic hotel without any frills for a good budget price. Situated approx 15mins walk from the city centre this hotel is clean but as mentioned very basic, friendly staff are on hand to checkin and advise on the local area, rooms contain a bed a desk and a TV.. Things to note the rooms have no tea & coffee facility, no safe and the electric heating is on a timer from a centrally controlled location which means that the hotel can get very cold until later in the evening when the timer begins.. Most oddly this hotel has no restaurant service at all, at night so a restaurant 100mtrs from the hotel caters for guests. Overall there is nothing wrong with Hotel Les Oceans as long as you understand that it meets only a basic hotel requirement.

An inexpensive, clean, no frills hotel. We stayed in the family room at the top of the hotel. There were 2 individual bedrooms within one enormous room both sharing a reasonably sized bathroom. Our room overlooked the main road but there was no noise from the traffic as there is double-glazing. Helpful proprietor who helped us with opening times for the submarine museum. There really is nothing to complain about as the place was clean and very reasonably priced.
