We were overcharged as the hotels.com website said €72.00 incl. tax and fees but the hotel asked us for an extra €2.00 for city tax. Location - centrally located with a short walk to the town centre Parking - free on the road The reception staff were friendly but they stop working at 8pm. Given the price of the room I would have expected tea and coffee making facilitates and a later reception. Clean but overpriced hotel.
I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very convenient to many things in Lorient. I stayed in a single person room and it had all the things I need (TV and wifi). Restaurants are a short walk away. Nice value for the money
3strs but very very good very clean very cozy close to every thing shops restaurants train station the rooms are really good for 3 starts very good breakfast good can be bet better but is ok The people are very friendly
The hotel is in a good location if you want to visit the city. It is good but not perfect. The small place for breakfast cause a problem... There is no much choices in breakfast. Everything is clean. There is no restaurant in the hotel.
I was in Lorient for a conference and the hotel was booked by the university. Hotel Leopold is reasonably close to the station in a hidden street. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. No complaints!
We had a hard time finding something in Lorient that would accommodate 3 people in one room. This was one of the few that were reviewed online. It is on a little side street that is in a more industrial area. It is a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The trash truck came by in the middle of the night and was very loud. Overall it was a decent hotel, clean, with a friendly and helpful staff. The towels were quite worn, but other than that it was fine.
Superb, clean accommodation offering wonderful value-for-money during the busy (August) Festival Interceltique. If you want pools, terraces, beautiful coastal views, spa treatments etc., you'll need to look elsewhere and pay out some serious money, but if you are looking for a clean base with a great breakfast that sets you up for the day, you need look no further. Excellent competitive prices - many thanks to the team who looked after us so very well.
The accommodation was booked on our behalf and turned out to be ideal for us, during our stay in Lorient for the Festival Interceltique. Convenient, quiet location. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with an excellent shower room. Breakfast was excellent with beautiful hot chocolate, a very desirable option. Our hosts were charming and very hospitable. Thoroughly recommended.
A group of 11 singers, Oll an Gwella, and wives stayed here whilst taking part in the Interceltique Festival in Lorient. We all found the hotel very comfortable, with clean and modern rooms, nice bathrooms. Our landlady Catherine and her husband Jacques were very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast all we could have wished for. The hotel was in an ideal position, a ten minute walk to the town centre but quiet at night. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a stay in Lorient.
We stayed here for three nights during the Festivale Interceltique. Friendly welcome and good, clean room. Comfortable bed. Close to bus and train stations, not too far from a range of restaurants, and short walk downtown to shops.
