An excellent stopping place in Burgundy with a truly outstanding Gourmet restaurant but there is also a Bistro round the corner.

Many years ago we had dinner at Lameloise and were somewhat underwhelmed but having arranged a short business trip in Burgundy we decided to give it another go and try a one night stay with dinner. Ownership and personnel have changed since then and this time we were not disappointed this time and we now whole heartedly recommend this lovely...

This little, charming but very elegant hotel is great to stop by if you are in the region. They spoil you even giving you water bottles for your road trip. Excellent service. The restaurant is extremely elegant with Michelin stars, all of them deserved. As always, you can see it is a Relais Chateaux.

The very best establishment we stayed in France so far. From arrival to dinner to departure the next day everything was simply perfect and excellent value for money. It is uplifting to see such a team, everyone from owner, executives and staff are highly motivated, groomed and trained to perfection. The meal was the highlight of our visit to France....

See seperate Restaurant review. The Hotel here is in a busy Town on the street (not our usual sort of place, we like "quiet & secluded!), but we stayed here for the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the calmness of the Hotel once inside and the Decor and quality of the furnishings were superb..we even had a small "rooftop"...

What a wonderful hotel. We booked a junior suite and a table for 5 at the restaurants (See "MAISON LAMELOISE" for review of the restaurant) This establishment if more of a fantastic restaurant with a few nice rooms, than a full out 5 star hotel. The junior suite was big, spacious with a surprinsgly high ceiling. Nice modern bathroom (we...

We enjoyed our stay - from the complementary valet parking, very simple check in process, faultless service and spectacular dinner and breakfast, to all the little touches in between (petit fours and water in the room, warm and friendly service, the staff effortlessly switching to English when we struggled with our French, the gift bag with two bottles of water...

We stayed here overnight while travelling through France and would highly recommend the Lameloise. Dinner was a delight and the breakfast equally good. The hotel has many nice touches, such as petits fours in the bedroom, and the service is of an extremely high standard. All of the staff went out of their way to make our stay an extremely...

We stayed for one night at the Maison Lameloise on our way south. The staff are very gracious and welcoming. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and enjoyed truly exceptional food. The one downside to the experience was that our fellow diners included a couple with a dog. Now I know that attitudes towards eating...

We stopped here because of the restaurant and its Michelin recommendation and found a charming small hotel in the centre of town. We were greeted with a sense of genuine welcome and shown to a small but tastefully decorated room. Dinner was all that we could hope for but the service was the best i have experienced in France. Do...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Three generations of the Lameloise family have brought life to this former post house renowned for the quality of its hospitality but above all for its unique restaurant. Jacques Lameloise perpetuates the talent and culinary excellence of his father Jean and his grand-father Pierre. Today Eric Pras clearly expresses his ambition: “To continue the success story of the property and uphold the current level of excellence.” Faithful to the spirit of a place with a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, Jacques Lameloise has prepared his succession… the encounter of desires at the right moment.
