The Hotel Concorde is only 2 star; however, its rooms are very tidy, functional and clean. The hotel features several quirky and cute fixtures and fittings, which are a nice touch. The proprietor was a lovely man, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice, too. Overall, a very good value place to stay when in Macon.

We needed an overnight stop on the way back to the uk. The hotel is clean, the beds comfortable and the service was really friendly. Not sure how I got old enough for the 1980s to be retro, but the decor is 1980s retro! The hotel is not far from the station and about a 10 minute walk to the...

A clean and very modern little hotel. The staff was helpful. Not very distant from the centre of town. The room was small but very nice. The colors red and gray are the deal of this place, put together nicely. Would go back anytime.

Ideal overnight stop if travelling south on the autoroute: easy to find in centre of Macon. Parking directly outside and easy walk to all restaurants and river quay. Seems to be newly renovated with "interesting" decor in the rooms: bring your shades! Very clean and reasonably priced.

Lovely Clean room. Comfortable bed and dog friendly. The staff are very welcoming and speak better English than my French! Would definitely recommend. Not far from the bars and restaurants of Macon. There is a beautiful magnolia tree on the terrace with an abundance of blooms in spring.

Terrible place with terrible staff. Man on reception looked like he could have done with a good wash. Could not describe it at all as a hotel. It's smells old and toilet smelt of sewers. Bedroom was a disgrace. Tried to overcharge us by saying we had to pay twice for a double room. Parking was not available. It is...

We should have known by the two star rating that this was not the hotel for us. It's old....really old and smells like mildew when you walk in. The room was rundown with cheap mismatched furniture and the bathroom looked like it had never been updated. I wouldn't have stayed here even when I was in college....the fact that the...

On a recent holiday to the East of France we stayed 2 nights in this hotel while we explored Macon. The hotel was well situated, about 10 minutes walking distance to the town centre and was situated in a quiet street. We were allocated a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden. this location would have been...

Stayed in one of the two garden rooms which are abit more than the others but worth it for the quiet outlook on the garden. The hotel is abit dated (but clean) ideal in that it is outside the very busy centre of town with its dual carriageway but still walking distance of the restaurants. We were just there for...
