Driving through the black wrought iron gates, you can't help but gasp. Le Relais Brunehaut is a magical retreat, like a tiny village, complete with stream, pond, ducks and geese, even a friendly golden retriever and several cats. Each room is unique and utterly charming, yet all the mod cons are available, including a surprisingly robust shower, coffee and tea-making...

Ideally, i'd have liked to give a 'good' rating, but it jumps straight from average to very good... Stayed here for 4 nights recently, as my parents had stayed here approx 10 years ago and recommended the food - and we wanted to visit the nearby castle at Pierrefonds. First of all, it is in a lovely location - very...

This is the restaurant of the hotel, we stayed one night there. The service was very friendly, the restaurant very cozy and quite enchanting, very country french, and the dining room had a wonderful fireplace that was lit when we sat to eat our meal, they brought warm bread straight from the fireplace! my husband ordered chicken and I ordered...

We lucked upon this delightful hotel and superb restaurant when visiting Pierrefonds (a place very close to Paris that seems to be underrated by non-French visitors). It is a great alternative overnight stop prior to taking flights home from CDG airport.

We immediately felt the charm of the French countryside, entering the charming hotel through the gates. So we found ourself instantly at ease, even after a long car ride. And the lovely diner wasyet to come... We'll be back.

I stayed in this hotel for more than 1 year from Tuesday to Friday working in an industrial project in the region. The Auberge became indeed my second home. The place is outstanding, excellent cuisine and lovely people running the hotel - incl. their dog ! I come back on a regular base now with my family. It's as well...

Entering through the hotel gates we found ourselves in a picturesque, calm and olde world haven of peace. This old mill has been transformed into a tasteful hotel and restaurant. Our bedroom was spacious, furnished in country style and very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The owner, Gilles was very helpful and looked after us with professionalism and warmth to help...

My wife and I chose this hotel due to its close proximity to Pierrefonds and relative travel time to the Somme. The hotel itself is a very picturesque and charming collection of stone worked buildings centered around an old mill. Although the rooms were slightly dated, to some degree this added to the charm. Our room did contain a kitchenette...

This property is a small group of builldings with timbered ceilings, gorgeous grounds, and tons of flowers. My room was enormous with a double bed plus a single bed plus a sofa. The bathroom was modern. The posted price for 2 persons was 65 euros. This property rates a "10" for ambience. The rooms are somewhat dated but certainly more...

We stayed here to visit the Chateau at Peirrefonds (which is well worth it). It was a little pricier than we would normally spend but options were limited as we have one person in a wheelchair and were told our room had on 2 stairs to it (manageable we thought) our first room had 8 stairs down to it and...

“This is not a good hotel for handicapped. Most rooms are walkups with a fair amount of steps. It's out in the country, about a 45 minute drive from CDG airport. Very tranquil setting.”
