Set in the town centre this newly converted town house is tastefully finished with attention to details and service. The rooms retain the character of the townhouse with a modern finish. The rooms had air conditioning which meant that they were cool when you returned from sightseeing. The service was first class.

Delightful building with beautifully appointed rooms. Peaceful and extremely comfortable. Mathieu was warm and welcoming and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Parking might be tricky in the high season, but was easy in November once we had negotiated the Argeles one-way system! We will definitely be back next year with friends to enjoy the hospitality of L'Hostalet and the amazing...

Lovely room and service. Everything perfect. Looking forward to the highly recommended breakfast tomorrow. They cannot do enough. Meeting us on arrival, booking dinner showing us where to walk. A very nice old village, away from the hustle and bustle of the beach.

Wasn't the best arrival as I had thought it was a 'proper' hotel, i.e. an always open door to a manned reception. My mistake, but once you've rung the bell and been ushered in it is a delightful chambres d'hote. The guys are charming, the creaky wood staircase shines and having been given a choice of and a look at...

There is no immediate parking by the b&b but ample parking is only a 4-5min slow walk away. A lovely greeting by Mathew (one of the 2 owners) and we were taken to a petit but beautiful room decorated with antique furniture from the region. The room has everything you could possibly need and backs onto the town square which...

We stayed at L'Hostelet as part of our 25th Wedding Anniversary celebration and what a great choice it was. The service was impeccable, the hotel clean and tastefully decorated, the breakfast was delightful with local cheeses, fresh bread, fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. Nothing was a chore for Matthieu and Jonathan and what came through most strongly was that...

Myself and two friends stayed here for a few nights in July after a weeks cruise on the Canal du Midi and we could not have chosen better to end our holiday on the Med. Mathew was very welcoming and carried our luggage to each room. The rooms and en suites were spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast were amazing!...

My husband and I stayed at L'Hostalet twice in two weeks. Originally our stay was supposed to be only five days; we were already committed for an additional five days at another location in the area. Because our first stay was exceptional, we decided to come back for a few more days before returning home. Our hosts Matthieu and Jonathan...

Great and friendly host, nice outside breakfast and central location. We felt very well received and the overall feeling at this place was great. The rooms are very clean and cozy but not huge. Sleep quality, and that is important, was perfect. We really recommend this place if you don't want to stay directly at the beach.

The room was very clean and comfortable; and the breakfast, fine. What really stood out, however, was the friendliness and helpfulness of our host. He recommended restaurants, advised on day trips, and checked on train time tables, among the many services rendered. We like to eat a main meal midday and have something light in the evening. He was very...
