We stayed for a week over Easter 2014. Overall we are very happy, the property is well equipped and everything is in good working order. The grounds are really nice for kids to run around (we had a 1.5yr old) and it is very quiet and peaceful. Giana was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed not...

How often are you greated at a hotel with a loaf of freshly made bread, a cake, a bowl of grapes and a bottle of wine? Never, I bet. But this is what Gianna welcomed me with when I stayed for a week in September. I stayed in the one bedroom, which was a spacious array of rooms in a...

Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!! It is absolutly ideal vacation! From height of Tuscan hills you will consider olive and nut groves, mountains in the distance, you will inhale aroma of herbs and flowers, enjoy silence and a PRIVACY (look, only three-four families live on a villa at the same time). It was our fifth time here in Italy, and this villa was...

It is seldom that holiday destinations live up to the images conjured up in the imagination in the way that Podere di Santa Maria did. Nothwithstanding the slightly disappointing Tuscan weather, Podere di Santa Maria exceeded all our expectations as the perfect setting for a tranquil and relaxing holiday. The setting amongst walnut and olive groves is the stuff of...

The accomodation was special...bread and all the necessary for the breakfast, clean and very comfortable rooms. All the necessary was there and Gianna was...

This year we stayed in casa Erina in Podore Santa Maria and really had a great time. The surroundings and cities/villages are beautiful, the house offered everything we needed and the pool has a beautiful view and offers the refreshment we needed so badly during the hot summer days. We also got plenty of rest, except for this one special...

We stayed 6 adults and 4 kids for a week and enjoyed the beautiful renovated property, the landscape and the hosptality of the owners. The place is well run, and the nearby restaurant is also excellent. The views from the houses and the pool area are stunning and the pool area perfect for both small and grown ups. I Can...

We went in June 2012 with our daughter, aged 11, and were thrilled at the beautiful location which was peaceful with fabulous views yet within walking distance of the village, Ciciano, for shopping and eating out. We particularly enjoyed the excellent regional cooking and informal ambiance at the family-run 'Dai Galli'. Gianna, the owner of Podere Santa Maria, was so...

We spent in Podere di Santa Maria five days and it was perfect holidays. We had the advantage of being there alone, eventhough there are more properties to rent (I think three separare houses, which are very close to each other). The location is perfect if you are looking for a calm and quite place. The village Ciciano is within...
