A magical and refined place, the hotel opens its doors on a colorful garden where time is stopped around the heated swimming pool and 6 rooms and 3 suites. It´s full treasure of flowers, interesting objects and artwork. An invitation to dream by the pool, in the shade of the Pergola, author of a drink or breakfast time on the terrace.

Detailed Reviews
Such a lovely hotel boutique in a gorgeous little town and street surrounded by locals! We were greeted by the hotel owners and they were absolutely lovely and welcoming! Room was super clean and spacious and quiet. Access to the pool 24-7 was amazing especially during the heat wave! We stayed for 5 nights and absolutely loved every moment after coming back from tours and so forth. Great location in a quiet street filled with cafes, gelatos and restaurants spread out if you’re headed back from the city center and away from tourists. Would highly recommend!

We stopped here for just one night as part of a bigger road trip. The town was fantastic, historic, clean, and felt safe. The hotel was centrally located. The hotel itself was boutique and individual. We had a great room that was large and the bathroom was spacious with a separate toilet. We were welcomed by the owner and shown to our room. Parking was secure within the grounds of the hotel. Breakfast was traditional and we ate in the gardens which were beautiful. We didn't have time to explore as much of the town and Avignon but would welcome the opportunity to return.

Stayed here in June 2023 and can only express praise and gratitude to Sophie and Steve, the hosts at Hotel La Suite.
Great hotel/B & B, wonderful location, beautiful rooms, quiet, comfortable, relaxed - everything we needed.
Can highly recommend and we will definitely return.
Villeneuve les Avignons historic centre is quite special - lovely square and restaurants and just a beautifil atmosphere.
My first experience of Provence but Karen and I will be returning next year, for sure.

Had a wonderful stay, in this incredibly clean and really nicely decorated hotel. Steve and Sophie were friendly, professional and were perfect hosts. Glad that I chose to stay here, and Villeneuve-Lez-Avignon is a great town, Fort St Andre and then Abbey gardens - awesome. I look forward to returning one day.
Only a little kettle in the room could have made it even better. Overall, fantastic hotel.
Thank you Steve and Sophie! Nick

We liked everything about this hotel. Open only a year, the building is completely renovated and decorated to a high standard. Everything about the hotel felt clean and fresh. This is partly due to the entire hotel being non-smoking and to the use of pavers rather than carpeting. We had a spacious room on the 3rd (top) floor which had a comfortable bed, nice linen, and a beautiful, modern bathroom. The room also had a minibar, safe, free wifi, English tv channels, and a motion sensor lights system. Secure parking is also free. Our double room cost 149€ a night which we found to be a good value for the level of comfort and services provided.
The decor throughout the hotel is a blend of modern and traditional. The stunning dining room is straight out of Architectural Digest. Equal attention has been paid to the grounds which contain mature trees, sculpture, a pool, a grape and wisteria arbor, and tables and chairs. When the weather is fair, breakfast can be taken outside. By the way, don't be put off by the 14€ breakfast they advertise. You can also chose a traditional continental breakfast for 7€ each. The elevator is primarily used for transporting your luggage. Be sure to let them know if you have mobility issues so they can accommodate you. Villeneuve-les-Avignon is just the other side of the river from Avignon (only 3 km. away) but offers a more tranquil setting for dining and sleeping. It's also an easier base for visiting other popular sites in the area. You'll find Steve, Sophie, and his dad, Serge, to be warm and attentive hosts. We highly recommend staying at Hôtel La Suite.

My wife and I spent one night at Hotel La Suite. It is tiny, but really cute. It is family run with art work by the owner all over. No one was fluent in English but with minimum effort everyone understood us and we understood them. There is a nice pool and green area behind the hotel.
The neighborhood is quite but we got referred to a great restaurant around the corner, and really loved our stay. The room was not the biggest but the bathroom was very large. The elevator was great for luggage but not humans.

A quiet place where you can hear the birds sing and little else will disturb you. Villeneuve is a medieval village just across the Rhone river from Avignon (the 10 minutes bus ride costs only € 1,30) where the famous bridge of Avignon originally ended (at the Tower of Philip le Bel). During the pope's reign in Avignon many of the cardinals lived in Villeneuve and its church and some of the buildings look rather like little fortresses.
This small hotel is in an old building on Villeneuve's main street opposite La Chartreuse, which in the middle ages was the world's biggest Carthusian monastery and houses an excellent restaurant. Mores restaurants are within easy walking distance. The hotel's private parking can be easily accessed from a back street. It has no restaurant of its own but offers breakfast if you pre-order the night before. € 10 for the simple version and € 15 if you want ham and cheese as well and will be served in the garden if you so desire. The bar closes at 9 PM (21:00). The hotel also has an outdoor pool with a sun deck (chairs provided).
Our air conditioned room was not big and had a queen sized bed. Toilet and shower are separate, which is nice but the toilet had no sink (see fotos) which is a bit cumbersome. The big surprise was a free standing bath tub in an extension which can be viewed from the bed.
We stayed there one full week as Villenueve is the ideal base to explore the many exciting places of the Provençe - Languedoc region, like Arles, Aix-en-Provence, Nimes, the Pont du Gard and the beautiful lavender fields (ocean of lavender).
Compared to other nearby places where friends of us stayed the hotel appeared a bit pricy. Wifi is free both in the room and in other parts of the hotel.
The owners Steve and Sophie speak English and were very friendly and hospitable.

Two years on, almost to the day, my wife and I spent another week at La Suite. I really could simply cut and paste my original review as we found, to our delight, that the hotel had maintained its high standards. Steve and Sophie are charming owners, friendly and approachable they work hard to preserve the hotels unique character and personality. I'm afraid I don't recognise some recent negative comment and would respectfully suggest that, having spent a total of 14 nights at the hotel, I'm pretty well placed to see where things full short. I would always accept that La Suite, like any hotel, will not be to everyones taste but if you have taste then you can only profit from staying here. There is an understated, quiet charm about the place and the imaginative and quirky artwork adds to its individuality and sophistication. The hotel seems an extension of the owners home and its a privilege to feel and be part of that. Situated in Villeneuve-les-Avignon it's perfect for Avignon proper. The regular and efficient bus service is ideal for popping in and out of Avignon – books of tickets can simply be bought from the Information Office in Villeneuve – however it's not too far to walk if you feel so inclined. Avignon is a beautiful and historic city but Villeneuve itself is full of history too, with La Chartreuse a few steps from the hotel door. Villeneuve is also a wonderful refuge from the crowded and sometimes overtly touristy City and after a long day fighting the hoards a welcome dip in the hotel pool before dinner is a perfect way to recharge batteries. La Suite is not a place for noisy late night drinking and Sophie and Steve run this small and friendly hotel with a style that affords respect but I will leave my last words to our friends who joined us this year. Arriving home they emailed us to say ' thank you for introducing us to such a lovely part of the world, a fantastic and inspirational hotel run by two delightful people'. Quite so!

We enjoyed our 6 night stay in this lovely hotel just a few minutes away from the Avignon TGV train station where we rented our car. From the hotel and village, 3 of the 6 days we drove to visit villages north, east and south of Avignon, and the location of the hotel and the village worked out very well for us. This village is especially close for a visit to St-Remy-de-Provence. It was so nice after a day of exploring to come back to our spacious and quiet room and sleep well. We agree with other reviews that Stephen and Sophia are warm and gracious hosts eager to help us with dinner reservations and other needs. We stayed during a low season when the weather was cool so the pool was not being used at the time, however the garden next to the pool was very beautiful and we spent one afternoon relaxing on the lounge chairs next to the pool. The village is very nice for walking and a visit of the Chartreuse Abbey. We were there during the April school vacation and Easter, so some of the businesses and restaurants were closed more than usual. I would love to revisit this hotel in May - August. We stayed in a suite that would be large enough for a family with one, or perhaps two children. It had two bathrooms. I highly recommend this hotel.

How lucky we were to find this wonderful little boutique hotel which has only been open since July. The hotel is located in a 17th Century stone building on a quiet street just across the river from the busy and touristy city of Avignon. And just across the road from the historical Chartreuse Abbey.
We loved our room with it's quirky furnishings, modern and spacious bathroom and old stone wall. The garden and pool area are an oasis.
We fealt like locals when we walked down the street to the Pattiserie for coffee and almond croissants or browsed the antique fair. There were also lots of good restaurants to eat at in the evenings.
We walked into Avignon in about 1/2 an hour but the bus from Avignon is very regular if you'r not a walker.
The owners were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
We highly reccomend this hotel to anyone who is looking for something a bit special.
