First stay here at Metropole, booked in because they were pet-friendly, had an elevator (traveling with my Service Dog & elderly Father), parking, twin beds & near everything... Friendly staff, really comfortable beds & strong hot shower & decent WIFI--not always found at this price range...would have been great if they had at least one English speaking channel on TV...

Situated in a pedestrianized area we had booked a car parking space in their garage which was a short walk away. The hotel is small but clean, the lift was very small, shame we had to be on the 5th floor so it was hold your breath all the way up and down. The room was clean but on the...

We stayed here before travelling back to the UK and were pleasantly surprised. The reception is manned 24 hours and staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were ok given the price and hotel rating with working air con and safe and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms and showers are quite small but this is typical in French hotels. Breakfast was...

We have passed this hotel many times and thought we would give it a try. What a lovely surprise. The hotel is very French and a bit quirky. We had a great room overlooking the back garden. The sun shone in and it was a bit noisy as the sea gulls were nesting. A great double sink bathroom and a...

Small but centrally situated hotel with claustrophobic elevator. Not easy to travel to by car because it is in pedestrianised area, governed by street bollards. Staff friendly enough, wi-fi so difficult. Bedroom just adequate. Air con did not work. Had to open window all night and had constant, very loud noise from young people outside until at least 04:00 hours...

Hotel is in the heart of Boulogne and is perfect for one or two nights. We opted for a comfort room but it was at the front of the hotel which was quite noisy- cars and motor bikes at night and dustcarts in the morning!!If we stayed there again, and we would, we would ask for a room overlooking the...

We stayed in Room17 second floor, we asked for a room with a street view as I like watching people walking by. Room is quite small, bed is a small double. Only one small wardrobe with a tiny shelf which holds the little safe. The bathroom with separate toilet & his & hers sinks & a shower inside the bath...

Stayed for 2 nights. The desk staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent, very near Place Dalton, where the Wednesday/Saturday markets are held and a few blocks from the old town. It's also useful to have secure private parking (11 euros extra/night), but you need to go into the hotel first to get the code and...

We stayed here for two nights while on a shopping trip in the area. The hotel is very well located in the centre of Boulogne so very handy for a number of restaurants. It's only a short walk to the old town where there are even more eating opportunities. The hotel itself is a little tired here and there, but...
