No secure parking. If the spots outside the hotel are full, check out the 5 or 6 bays outside what is a public building in the rear corner of the square. Free overnight parking from, I think, after 17.30. Often something there, as those spaces appear not to be public but, overnight, they are. I did not fear for the safety of my car at all, not that anyone would want to nick it anyway!
