This Mercure, like most, has nice rooms, bedding and bathrooms with tub/shower combination. We found the queen bed comfortable and room generally very clean and good sized. There is a huge shopping mall across the street with good food options for convenience. The breakfast room at the hotel is just not much. Most Mercures are better.

I was staying in Alencon for business so the Mercure was a convenient choice. In the past I stayed in a lovely independent, traditional hotel in the centre of town but this closed in 2010. Unfortunately, this now leaves visitors to the area with very little choice of accommodation, hotel-wise, if you need to be close to the centre of...

Usefully placed for motorway access - but this is not to the usual Mercure standard. I agree with earlier reviewer that a refurb is well overdue. My room was on the top floor, with just a Velux-type window and a very cramped space. There's no restaurant, and the recommended establishment next door was OK but service was very slow.

family rooms are good size for 4 people. A pleasant quiet location very convenient for the Motorway. If travelling from UK to southern France it is an ideal stop over. Parking is easy and security feels good for loaded cars.

Stayed in family room. Staff at reception very nice, spoke English. Breakfast very good buffet. Good-sized bathroom and large flat-screen t.v. Very pleasant experience and will definitely use again as stop-over.

I booked on the Accor website at €120.00 room only, as that was the only rate offered. Mercure have always been a premium brand, with good facilities for a business traveller so............As I approached the hotel I saw €74.00 on the display outside. I mentioned this on check-in to be told that the "superior" type room that I had booked...
