Room was old and dirty with cracked bathroom tiles and broken heater. There was an awful smell, which forces you to crack open the window, making you sleep in the cold. It was nothing like in the picutres. We had to carry all our heavy luggage up 4 floors. There is no elevator. Also, it was my mistake for leaving...

The egg dish is certainly a matter of taste. My twelve year old son and I didn't like it. My wife had hers with salmon and loved it. His fries were really good and my salad was slightly above average. The dessert was totally forgettable. My meal cost over 30 euros. We waited over 20 minutes for our dessert. My...

This hotel is at the base of Mt. Saint Michel and is amazing! The staff was friendly, the room was very clean and over looked the bay! And out our door was the stair case to Mt. Saint Michel!! The best time to visit is on march, low crowds!!

I booked the room on hotel.com which turns out to be very extraordinary savings- as our superior room on the hotel web site is worth E490/night!!!! the dining room is lovely and quiet, no big screen tv or loud music- and yes you will pay at this location an exorbitant price for a very fluffy delicious omelette.... to the tune...

We were so excited for this visit. Sadly we heard the entire island is now a tourist trap but what we encountered was far worse. The "Superior" room we paid for was identical to the basic room shown online. We should not have been charged a superior rate for a standard room. The room itself (room #43 ) was so...

Location was excellent. Food was phenomenal. Will definitely be back at this hotel. Worth every penny!!! The axis to the second floor terrace and rear access to the Abbey is a plus. Especially at night the view is out of this world

I visited Mont St Michel in September this year and I worked out when the best time to visit - high tides etc and wanted to stay very close so that I can take the magical moments in when the place becomes an island. I was lucky to get a booking here. It is very cheap and you get a...

We went there in November. the weather was freezing cold, yet the room was really warm! it was spacious, a bit old but given the old city and abbey, it was perfect. The WC was clean and spacious too. The bed was comfortable. It overlooked the bay. Too many stairs but that was not a problem for us. Don't miss...

We visited Mont St Michel with another couple. We did a lot of research about hotels on vs off the island. You have to park your car a ways away and get on a shuttle bus. You will need a code from the hotel in order to get into the correct parking lot. As you drive in on the shuttle...

Perhaps because it is at a top tourist attraction, mont St-Michel, I think the lunch menu at the La Mère Poulard restaurant is on the expensive side: $35 for the omelet with a salad garnish and dessert. But it's worth trying the omelet. I think it may cost a bit less at the La Mère Poulard cafe. Our service bordered...
