I read several negative reviews but that wasn't our experience at all. We had a smallish but adequate sized room with just an amazing view of the island and water. We arrived late because of traveling from an all day D-Day tour from Bayeux but...More
The hotel is what you would expect for a building that's hundreds of years old. But the view was breathtaking. I laid in bed trying to sleep but I couldn't due to not wanting to close my eyes. Laying in bed looking out the window...More
The only way to visit Mont Saint Michel is to stay in a hotel on the island. There is very little room on the island, get there in late afternoon and explore once the tour buses are gone. Stay overnight and get up for an...More

I had to email or Skype them. If you have any members of your group who are disabled or older, do not go there! The rooms start on the "2nd floor" and go up to the 5th floor via a very narrow spiral staircase. No elevator. I'd recommend staying off-island at 1 of the many hotel/motels then just getting up early & stay late for 1 day. Then head elsewhere.
