I was rather apprehensive in accepting a thirty euro deal on this hotel. But all was fine. Although opposite the station the hotel was secure and parking was fine at the back of the hotel in their yard. Rooms were small but the bed comfortable and it was clean. Friendly reception. What more do you want before taking the ferry... More

Arrived in Calais on one of the late ferries and found this hotel to be of good value for money...it is a very clean hotel with a good breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room quite small but tidy. Also a quite large parking lot. Good value for money.

We booked this hotel as we had a good experience in the one in Dunkirk which is also near a busy port. All we wanted to do was sleep before an early start to catch the Euro Tunnel in the morning. The room was very run down and smelled of mildew, the sheats were clean but damp and very smelly... More

We booked this hotel as we were travelling with two thirds of our entire family, (6 adults & 9 children) and it looked to be quite cheap. We found out why when we arrived. There was no-one on reception and we had to ask around for someone to go and find the receptionist who appeared to be doubling as a... More

32€ is what I paid on line for a twin room.. And at that price I wasn't expecting a lot. The local alone is worth a chunk of the money right across the rd from Calais train station perfect for our stay. Room ultra basic beds not the best it's clean and as I said with my header you get... More

The Premiere Classe is not classy but for 40€ it'll do. Tiny room. Cramped beds. A shower curtain from the 1970's. No lock on bathroom door. But to repeat, 40€ for a twin. Easy to find, plenty of parking and close to the centre of Calais. Perfect really.

Location was perfect for the ferry port. Room was average but the bed was a hard as rock. Quiet room considering the location but car park was not secure as with other premier classe that we have stayed in.

We stayed here before catching the ferry back home, after a long journey we checked in to find the rooms where very small and carpets where dirty. After checking the beds we found dirty sheets and hairs on the pillows and in the bathroom. We would never stay here again and would never have booked if we weren't so tired.... More

Not far from the Chunnel but very difficult to find the way into the actual premise! Plenty of parking. Nice towels. No lift - 2nd floor is actually 4 sets of stairs!! Tiny room and tiny bathroom. Shower could have done with a good clean and a longer curtain as water goes on floor. Noisy, especially as the hotel entrance... More

First of all, you do get what you pay for and this was very cheap. We had not expected any luxuries but we needed a bed and a functional room. We travel a lot and stay in all sorts of places. I treat Premier Inn as my control standard. As long as its as good as that then I consider... More
