Individually decorated rooms with lovely big comfy beds. Lovely view of the park with the added bonus of a small balcony. Nice to have a hairdryer provided and a kettle with tea and coffee. Staff really friendly and very helpful. Currently undergoing renovation and re-decoration, I would love to go back and see the end results. Lovely and clean despite...

We arrived a little late after traffic delays in Paris...but after a phone call all was sorted out and our keys were available on arrival. The night manager was a really helpful guy and gave us a map (which everyone gets) and added by hand the best places to eat in the area. The rooms are cozy with unusual decor...

My wife booked us a room for the night in this wonderful little find....although as stated by some other reviews the hotel could do with some 'finishing' we thought it only added to the character. The rooms were very clean and we were lucky enough to have a roll top bath which was fantastic considering the price we paid for...

Stayed in a twin room when over for a booze cruise in November 2016. This is a basic hotel but does the job for one night or so. The owner is a very nice person and there is secure parking at the rear of the hotel, which is excellent. Very good location also. It was about £40 for one night...

Stayed here several times over the years. Nice central location, paid secure parking or plenty of free parking in the streets. Place still being renovated, and the rooms are very basic but not without charm. The showers/baths leave a little to be desired though. Coffee/tea facilities in the room, but no milk/sugar. Breakfast is 8E for a croissant, cereal and...

As other reviewers have said, the hotel is in a nondescript building facing a park. But this does not detract from the interesting interior. I had a very pleasant welcome and was shown to my room on the third floor. The large room was dominated by a (very comfortable) bed. There were two wooden chairs but no easy chair. The...

We came back, the most lovely owner, a great budget hotel! The rooms are quirky, the stairs STILL unfinished, but don't let anything put you off, clean, fun, and cost effective! If you are traveling on a budget don't look anywhere else, the bath alone is worth the fee!

We visit this hotel every year when we do our "Baccy and wine run" and would highly recommend it for economy and comfort. The owner Benoit is so friendly and helpful. We ask for the same rooms each time overlooking the beautiful park. The decoration of the rooms is quirky but they are spotlessly clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast...

The hotel is ideally placed for exploring the centre of Calais, while being positioned in a quiet and pleasant street. The room was clean and comfortable. Some renovation work is ongoing - the areas already completed are finished tastefully and to a high standard. No inconvenience was experienced, the proprietor was most helpful and attentive. The exterior of the hotel...
