a very clean and good hotel, very friendly people, with locked garage space. very good breakfest. Easy access from the toll road, just 4kms. price/quality is very good. The rooms are sober, but clean and good beds.

It's actually a good rather than average hotel, it is rather old-fashioned and the rooms we had were rather small, but the price was right and the owners very friendly and helpful indeed. The breakfast was excellent, served in a very nice and spacious room. I would recommend that air conditioning is installed to increase the comfort. The wifi worked...

Rooms, bathroom and breakfast are basic, but correct in proportion with the rates. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is central located in Saintes what makes it easy for a walk to having dinner outside.

We were lucky and got a spacious room with a fairly large balcony. It was very listeners between rooms. The hotel is quite central, but there is some traffic noise in rooms facing the street. There is no aircondition on the rooms. Breakfast is quite OK. The staff could not speak english.

We turned up late at night in a terrible storm, but the owners were most welcoming. They made every effort to understand my atrocious French and helped me send a message of cancellation to the hotel we should have been at. The room was spacious, well appointed, comfy beds, with absolute blackouts on the windows - and lights over the...

There was just something so lovely about this hotel. So full of French character and such friendly owners. Very clean throughout the hotel which is so important. There was coffee making facilities in the room but some erratic replenishment of supplies... One day we one recieved one sachet for the two of us! So I suggest you get a little...

Very friendly and helpful owners. We were given a room at the front of then hotel but as this overlooked the road we asked to be moved, which they did without any complaints. The room we ended up in was a little smaller, but plenty of room for two. Very clean, good internet, breakfast was Ok. Building and room in...

Bear in mind this is a budget hotel but it's clean and comfortable, ideal for a quick stopover from motorway driving from Spain to UK. Convenient for the motorway and the main town. Staff couldn't have been nicer -unlike the majority of locals we encountered in this town.

Stayed here on a drive from the UK to Lisbon. Room was cheap enough, but lack of Aircon in the 30C night made for a sticky sleep. Breakfast was fine, and hotel is well located for anyone driving up or down the Motorway, wanting to stop in the Bordeaux area, and is in walking distance to the town centre and...
