We booked this hotel via Booking.com and the first thing I will mention is the address on the Booking.com confirmation and hotel site says 'promenade de la Corniche'. Our Tom Tom GPS navigation system in our rental car did not recognise this address as it is actually Corniche Bonaparte so bear that in mind if you are driving and your Tom Tom fails to find this hotel. The reception desk is frequently unmanned; they do have a bell though but when we went to check-out and were in a hurry we had to ring the bell numerous times before someone came as she was also waitressing during breakfast. Our room was fine, decorated plainly with comfy bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe for storage, flat screen TV. There was an information folder in the room regarding hotel services

Tripadvisor doesn't allow you to score half marks so I would say the Golf Hotel is neither 'average' nor 'very good' but somewhere in between. Its big plus is its position right on the wonderful, almost perfectly circular, Renecros Beach. It is a 2 star, so you don't expect luxury. The rooms were reasonably commodious and we paid extra for a terrace with wonderful views across the bay. The bathroom was a little 'retro' with lime green fittings. The standard of appointment of the bathroom was quite poor. The bidet was non functional and the shelf was showing its chipboard interior, but the shower was a good one and there was no sign of the smell that other tripadvisor readers have mentioned. The breakfast was an extra 22 euros for 2 people and though OK was frankly not very good

A friend of mine recommended that I stay here, and I'm glad I listened. Even though this is only a 2 star hotel, it was very clean and appeared to be recently updated. My room was a room with a large terrace overlooking the pristine sand beach, and very tall vaulted ceilings. There was a lot of storage space, which was very helpful. Easy walk into the charming village of bandol. We skipped breakfast, as we preferred walking into town and grabbing croissants from one of the many boulangeries in town. As this has one of the few sand beaches in the area we chose to spend a relaxing day on the beach and rented a couple of beach chairs. These are a little expensive, but so is most of the town, which makes this charming hotel even more of a great deal!

This hotel has a fantastic location on the beach and the views from the room terrace are brilliant - however as a previous reviewer has said the shower room we had was miniscule to say the least. Our biggest gripe would be the charge for the lounger on the beach and that these are allocated well in advance, something we were not told about so we landed up on our day of arrival with 1 between the three of us and the next morning had non as apparently they had all been booked. The evening meal was also very poor - breakfast was great.

We stayed at the Golf Hotel for one night. The hotel is well-situated next to the beach with a big terrace. The terrace may be useful in summer when it is very warm because the view is lovely and it has got a washing line for the swimming gear! We paid extra for the terrace but couldn't use it because even though it faces the beach it is completely shady and, therefore, ice cold and very windy in October! The biggest problem though, was the unpleasant smell in the bathroom. we had to keep the door closed because a sewage-like smell seemed to pour from it.

This little hotel is right on the beach in the wonderful Renecros Bay. It has been a favourite of our family for many years but this year the hotel itself was disappointing. The room was small but this is expected as it is not expensive and was very clean. But the shower room was beyond a joke and anyone over 12 stone would not be able to get on an off the lavatory and it was necessary after a shower to get dried in the room as they space was so small. And the dinner, which is served on the beautiful terrace on the beach, was very poor

The hotel really is a hidden gem. Directly on a private beach where we rented chairs and umbrella for the days. Restaurant is also on the beach and served delicious Mediterranean and Provencal dishes...and rose! Service is excellent and they thought of everything! Our only warning is the bathrooms are not updated and some- particularly the rooms with sea view and terrace - are very small. But for the price, this hotel is an excellent value and we would stay there again when in Bandol.

The hotel is located directly on the beach. The rooms are quite small, really not much bigger than the bed. The sea-view terraces are very nice - the terrace for our room was almost as big as the room itself! The beach was very nice - the water is very calm, and there is also some nice snorkeling in the bay. The parking is directly across from the hotel. The hotel is at the end of a peninsula, so you have to drive all the way through town to reach the hotel. You are about a ~5 minute or less walk to the main shopping/eating area in Bandol. The beach is not actually private - it is open to the general public. However, in season they do have a large deck, a place to shower off, and I believe they set out chairs for the people staying there (no comment on whether the Germans

Stayed here for three nights in September. The location is outstanding, right at the waters edge of the Renecross bay. The staff are friendly but you have to look for them as they are usually at the beach side snack area and bar. The inside restaurant was not open in the evening yet we still paid the high season rate!!. The bedrooms are just about adequate for size but the bathroom was built for small people only. Try showering, drying and dressing in the area available, it's quite a challenge! However, the sea view balcony from our room was worth the extra charges. We would/will probably return.

This hotel is in a wonderful position and, although some of the rooms have yet to be updated, the demi pension is good value. Dinner on the beach is lovely and the personal service of the owners is very friendly and they speak English! It is a short walk to the town centre
