We were privileged to spend two nights at L'Eveche B&B and enjoyed our stay immensely. It was quiet, beautifully decorated and elegantly presided over by the husband and wife owners. One has the sense that one is a guest and the owner is a friend who is sharing his home with you. The entrance to the upper town is a mild...

L'eveche is a wonderful, quirky place to stay. Located in the medieval village overlooking the town, we were lucky enough to stay in their suite which was really reasonably priced considering it came with the big comfortable rooms, beautiful views and rooftop private terrace. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby which are an easy walk and ample car...

If you are seeking a standard hotel experience then L'Eveche is not for you. If, however, you like a more intimate and unique vacation, then you won't want to miss a stay at L'Eveche. Vaison la Romaine is an interesting town (particularly the old town) with a large weekly market and pleasant hiking closeby. And the Verdiers will gladly give...

I waited awhile to write this review because I wanted to make sure of exactly what my impressions were of this hotel/village and that I was fair to all. We had just come from probably the most fun B&B/village (Pezenas) on this month long trip, and I wanted to be sure that I was comparing everything fairly. Vaison la Romaine...

Aude and I are truly sorry that our guests did not have a beautiful stay in Vaison la Romaine. This village is known well beyond our borders for its historical and cultural heritage. Two days may not have been sufficient to explore not only its roman and medieval past, but also the landscapes and typical Provençals villages that surround it....

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in October. This home is without a doubt absolutely beautiful. Every choice in decorating is so inspired by John L. and Aude. They are terrific hosts that aided us with directions, drives, restaurant choices and even cell phone help. They and their home were among our top highlights of our trip...

Perfect location, ancient medieval city and building (well maintained), great movie posters and antiques all about. The hosts were perfect, the breakfast room AND the breakfasts had a very nice atmosphere and warm welcoming feeling. The hosts were helpful in planning driving routes and special places to visit. It felt like a movie set, or a time machine to wander...

Except for the insane driving experience ( 1st day driving a stick shift on midevil footpaths), it's a dream place. After a long dinner and too much wine, we wandered the village. It was 1500! Our room was on Rue L'Eveche. The view was a movie. Food, decor, hosts are perfect.

Without a doubt, one of the nicest places we stayed in (including hotels and castles) during our stay in France. L'Eveche is set in an enchanting part of the medieval upper town, narrow cobbled street, romantic fountains and peaceful setting. It is perfectly situated to start a wine tour of the Cote de Rhone. The owners ( the Verdiers) are...

One of the nicest B&Bs we have ever stayed in. Cozy, warm, and meticulously maintained home that is obviously the product of much love. Feels kind of like stepping into a secret garden. Comfortable and roomy suite that was worth every euro, with a great view of the new town and surrounding countryside. Delicious breakfast. Gracious and helpful hosts who...

I followed a previous review that said head for the south of the village to park and am glad I did. When you get to the roundabout, take the it that goes up the hill and just park along the road on the right hand side before it narrows off. Where we did have issues was then finding the hotel....
