Our family stayed with Thierry again this year in Alpage and we experienced the same excellent quality of food and hospitality this year. The rooms we stayed in had been tastefully refurburbished and very comfortable. The pool was also warmer. Great trip.

Hotel Chalet Alpage was everything we'd hoped it would be - plus some more. After reading reviews here we booked to stay directly with the owner and resident manager, Thierry. Helpful and simple booking. A lovely small ski lodge type hotel, postioned very nicely just outside La Clusaz - lots of parking, right by the ski busstop and in a...

We stayed here for one week in February half term and can't fault it - we had a really super time. We chose to book our ski holiday to 'La Clusaz' after reading an article in the 'Sunday Times' and then chose our accomodation through trip advisor reviews - we were n't disappointed! The chalet is situated out of the...

We travelled with our six children who all agreed this was our best ski holiday ever! The location of the hotel was excellent with ski in/out onto a green run down into the village or a blue run across the road. It was luxurious to come off the slopes at the end of the day and fall into the hot...

This is the second year running we have had a short ski break in March at the Alpage and we were amazed and impressed at the changes made for this year. The reception area has been moved and improved making the bar area bigger. The outside heated pool now has a large cover making it ideal for a dip before...

Since our holiday in 2007, Thierry has added a roof to the swimming pool, an outdoor hot tub (with views across the valley), a steam room, heated ski boot racks (how did we ever manage without them!) and a second large plasma TV in a new lounge/reception area. There is now a pisted run at the end of the hotel...

A quiet chalet 3Km outside La Clusaz but just a few yards from a drag lift and a separate green run, both of which give access to the whole of the La Clusaz ski field. You can ski down to the Hotel from two sides and, as an alternative, the hourly ski bus stops outside. There's a Jaccuzzi, a sauna,...

We spent a lovely couple of days at the Hotel Chalet Alpage. Hiking in the Alps in the summer was a great experience. The hotel is wonderfully situated - near enough to the pretty town of La Clusaz to pop in to visit the market, shops and restaurants yet far enough away to feel tucked peacefully halfway up a mountain...

La Clusaz is one of those places that the French treasure as it is all a ski resort should be i.e friendly, relaxed and stunning views. As for the holiday, we left the UK on an early flight friday morning and were on the slopes by 2pm for a full afternoon skiing. Flying home on a 5pm flight Monday still...

Dated 11th January 2007. We have just returned from an excellent family skiing holiday at the L'Alpage. Situated on a quiet road about 3 miles from La Clusaz, the hotel is a level 50 metre walk away from the Les Joux drag lifts and an easy 100 metres downhill ski to the green run back into town - snow conditions...
