The best part about this hotel is it's location to the slopes. A few minutes walk to the first chairlift of the day and you finish your last run directly opposite the hotel. Excellent heated ski locker for each room. Our classic bedroom wasn't big, possibly better to pay extra for a larger room and a ski slope view however...

We had a 'classic room' which is the most basic option. The photos on the website are very deceiving - we were expecting a much bigger room than the one we were given, they all look as if they are a reasonable size from the photos. The bathroom was very basic and old fashioned, the shower was handheld which was...

The foyer, downstairs dining area are all really nice, modern and stylish but deceptive compared to what you actually get for a 'Classic' room. The 'Classic' room we had was EUR320 (for 1 night) and faced directly over onto the more recently built La Tapiaz. The bathroom was quite outdated and so small there's really only enough room for 1...

Great 6 day stay. Room had a balcony looking over roof tops to Mt Chery. Staff could not have been more delightful ( attentive but not fussy or interfering). Less than 100 yards from Ski locket to piste

Our second visit as a group of 6 young at heart ladies. It just works for us. Location: Situated at the bottom of a slope, next to Intersport for all your ski hire needs and a short 2 minute walk to the lifts or ski train/buses. Accommodation: Perfectly adequate rooms with spacious bathroom (ours, Rm 112, could easily have had...

This was our third year staying at La Marmotte and we will be back again next year! A a family owned hotel you really get a true sense of alpine hospitality. Pros: The main ski lift is 100m from the door (a button lift is even closers ;-) ) Ski rental is next door 3 restaurants in-house, all excellent! Swimming...

Overall we had a great stay. Perfect location, bedrooms had everything you needed, great food in all three restaurants. Service overall was very good, some nights a little slow but overall for a seasonal resort this is always a struggle and I think this hotel is much better than most. Highly recommend it. We will be back.

Having skied through many times, I was keen to stay and experience the village atmosphere plus take advantage of walking opportunities for some that have hung up skis! We planned three nights to give three full days skiing days which is easy given the easy transfer(thanks Skiddy Gonzalez) and the willingness of the hotel to facilitate a late departure. A...

Spent a few days here skiing. Pretty much ski in and out and opposite the main chair lifts. Ski hire from place next door and lockers with boot heaters in ski room make for comfortable boots in the morning. Very comfortable hotel. Rooms well appointed. Nice pool and three restaurants to choose from . Food is very good indeed ....

Stayed here for a week for early half term break with my wife and two boys in Feb '16. We stayed in a two bedroomed suite. Very spacious and fitted out to a high standard. Few quirks worth knowing about - only one toilet which is an oversight, wooden floors mean that it's quite noisy from upper and lower floors,...
