It took some deliberating before I could write this review...I intended on uploading whilst at the hotel between the 2nd and 12th of Feb 2017. The hotel is lovely, cozy, and has a great chalet atmosphere. But..before I sing it's many praises, I must first review Mark Warner for its underhand and well documented £50 surcharge on every persons booking...

I'm not a fan of the larger Chalet Hotels, but it seems to be the way things are going in the popular ski resorts. The layout of the hotel is quirky (but not in a good way), lift from reception to floor 1 (bar area), through a door & along the corridor (dining room), continue down the corridor and around...

My partner and I visited this hotel early in the season, and we assumed while we were there, the issues we had were some teething problems with the hotel, so I was prepared to write this review with that in mind. However, since emailed Mark Warner to pass on this feedback, I have had the most appalling email in response,...

We travelled as 2 Adults & 14 year old son. We booked a last minute Ski Holiday with Mark Warner to the Hotel l'Ecrin in Tignes Val Claret. We've been skiing for years and know what to expect (there's been some shockers but there's also some real gems out there too) We live in Cornwall yet had to fly from...

Booking the holiday over the phone was easy including the child care, ski lessons, equipment hire and lift passes. Flight from a Birmingham to Grenoble was just 90minutes and the plane was half empty so we were able to spread ourselves onto other seats for the short flight. We were met at Grenoble airport by a number of MW staff...

I stayed here as part of a Mark Warner package in Dec. 2016. Generally, it's a great hotel and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Something that deserves a mention is that they sorted out the ski passes for us (saving us a major hassle / wasted skiing time). Also, David was very helpful when I needed to deal...

This is the fourth time I have been to the hotel and the second time with Mark Warner, so I know the hotel and setup very well. We have one 8yr old daughter and always book one of their triple rooms which has 2 separate sleeping areas, they are really spacious and gives more privacy . The staff are excellent...

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was adequate , I asked for a balcony - so small I had just enough room to turn round! Shower - modern shower/bath comby but not half as good as the one at Der Rindererhof, Hintertux. Food was the usual - duck al orange, etc - with jus? - ie roast duck with a slice...

We visited the Lecrin last April 2016, with Mark Warner. Would highly recommend this resort and hotel, as ours was a last minute holiday me and my husband ended up going in the Easter holidays, we were surrounded by lots of family's however we still had a nice bunch on our social table. The hotel and its position, food, rooms...

We travelled as a couple who in previous years had stayed in a very nice hotel in Austria, and who had never been on a Mark Warner holiday - why have I waited so long? I think the most significant difference was the staff and the attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. Although it was the last...
