Stayed in a 2 room appartment sleeping 6. 1 double 2 singles and a pull out sofa. Small kitchen balcony toilet bathroom and small lounge. Everything needed was there but a little small for 6 people. You don't spend much time in there so it doesn't matter too much. Skiing is what it's all about. bakery right across the road...

The rooms all were in bad condition and poorly maintained, so filling out the inventory will take you about an hour to cover everything that's wrong with the room... The 'reception' is a separate building the other side of Val Thorens, so if anything is wrong like keys not working etc. its a pain to get it sorted, especially when...

I must admit we came here thinking it was going to be another ski resort style apartment with everything crammed, because it was a lowish price compared to what there is on offer but what we found out was way better than expected: We were a total of 3 couples. We had enough room for all of us. 1 bunk...

Nice place to stay as student, near to the station and quite comfortable. I really advise it for small budgets and people that just want a place to stay! Pay attention to no take too much stuffs, flats are not very big. Oh and I went there in 2013, maybe it has changed.

The sole occupant of a studio apartment ( advertised as a 5 person occupancy). The condition of the unit was deplorable with a filthy carpet , the main curtain torn from its track and hanging down, grubby walls, and rickety chairs. What has French mountain accommadation come to !

Upon opening the door to my room I noticed that it seemed worn and tired. The fridge had been left on resulting in a foul smell. Unfortunately when I booked my skiing trip I was told that the was a microwave so based my food shop for the holiday around this, only to find the wasn't a microwave yet other...

Stayed there on trip organised by off the piste (also did nothing). The shower curtain was about a foot off the floor. Because of that and the floor sloping towards the door, every time you had a shower it would flood the hallway. Every time you showed you needed to be sweep to get the water the water back in...

The apartment room itself was ok, with a nice layout and pretty furniture and a balcony. However, we booked a room for 6 people, and our room could barely fit in two. The upstairs rooms were tiny and boiling hot as the only windows in the whole flat were in one of the bedrooms and the balcony door downstairs. The...

We booked a large private apartment which apparently could accommodate 16 people. It was actually two apartments knocked into one with six bedrooms, three bathrooms & two sofa beds. The apartment had obviously been originally fitted out with care as the showers & bathrooms appear reasonable new and the apartment was reasonably well equipped however...It was disappointingly dirty and very...

I'm going to qualify this review by saying that I've stayed in Val Thorens twice a year for the last 8 years and have rented a wide selection of the self-catering apartments of different prices. The Silveralps is about average for the resort but I should warn that we spend all day on the slopes and very little time in...
