I stayed at Le Sherpa with a group of skiers, average age over 70, who have returned every January for over twenty years. We set out to enjoy ourselves and, as a fairly large group we certainly make a significant impression on the hotel. Our loyalty arises from the management's superb welcome and care. We could not be made more...

This year was our 19th visit to this hotel. We have skied in many countries but there's nowhere as convenient as this hotel. You walk 10 steps up the slope and you are virtually on the piste. You can ski straight back to the door. You have access to the whole of the 3 valleys from this resort. The hotel...

This quaint. cosy traditional style hotel was everything we could have wanted and more. ALL the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and made us feel as though they couldn't do enough for us. The food was AMAZING! 5 course dinner most evenings as well as some traditional events and a desert table with sooo much choice!. The standard rooms...

Our fourth time here but with a 10 year gap since our last visit. Lovely family run traditional ski hotel. Perfectly positioned for easy ski in and out . Lovely west facing terrace for afternoon sun. Food as ever amazing, the breakfasts fill you up for a whole days skiing and the dinners are a variety of local specialities and...

All staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was amazing - fresh and just what was needed after a full day on the slopes. The staff made...

Rooms are small, but no smaller than seems to be the standard in french resorts. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful in all positions. Food is especially good, with the dessert buffet a highlight. The sauna and Jacuzzi were nice touches also.

Good family run hotel with comfortable lounge and bar area and friendly staff. The rooms are a fraction on the small side, but have everything you need for a skiing holiday, and the evening dinners are first class. Easy access to and from the ski area.

I want to say thank you to the hotel team. All members of the staff were excellent. They went out of their way to make us happy. Every request: taxi, someone having to leave early for a death in the family, to being stuck in the snowstorm. All of this and great food!

We have just finished 7 fabulous nights at la Sherpa. We had a family suite (double bed upstairs, 2 singles downstairs). The evening food was amazing each night and dessert table great - they even coped with our children asking for plain pasta! Jacuzzi steam room and sauna area great. The staff were mostly friendly. The bar area gorgeous and...
