The Vines is a beautiful house set amidst vineyards and lovely views and located just 8 minutes drive from Havelock North. We were immediately made to feel at home by Mary the owner who provided excellent home made breakfasts and produced a lovely evening meal on one of the three nights of our stay. Whilst The Vines is run as...

For those who appreciate serenity in a beautiful setting, this is the place. This charming B&B is located in a working vineyard in Hawks Bay's premier wine growing region. Hamish and Mary are charming hosts whose beautiful home comes complete with a manicured regulation tennis court and good sized pool. Mary's breakfasts were gastronomical delights which varied every day. Mary...

Such a well thought out house with beautiful decor throughout, set in the most picturesque surround with the vineyard right on your doorstep. Mary and Hamish were so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect. Which it was, in every way. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

I don't do reviews, but made an exception in this case as my stay at The Vines was perfect in every way. The accommodation is beautiful, the setting among the vines with the swimming pool is from a movie, the food prepared and served by Mary was beyond anything I have ever got at a B&B, and not lastly Mary...

The cottage is set in a lovely setting right in amongst the vines. Couldn't be nicer. The cottage has everything you need for a stay away with family and friends. Really useful outdoor seating area with privacy. Good pool for swimming lengths or bombing, and was nice to go for a walk in the vines around the property. We really...

We came to Hawkes Bay for a weekend of wine touring by bike. The owner Mary couldn't be more helpful. Having stayed in several large baches over the last few months this was definitely the best. The house has a grass tennis court and (unheated) swimming pool (still managed to swim). Kitchen and bathroom were fine. The BBQ outside was...

Lovely location and most friendly helpful host. We stayed in the cottage so comments are for there only. It is a large place with pleasant interior but then there are lots of things ranging from quirky to very poor that should be much better for the price paid. For example quite a few essential things needing maintenance or replacement ranging...

Beautiful luxury accommodation with a personal touch from the welcoming hosts make this an experience to remember. Nestled behind the vines it is quiet, private and still convenient for wine tasting, golf and other activities, with Hastings just a short drive away. A lovely place to stay in an amazing setting. The private cottage was a fantastic size for our family of four but could easily fit a much larger family. We arrived late on a cold evening and was greeted by stoked fire and warm beds. We are looking forward to returning in summer and taking advantage of there large pool.
