The best B&B I have stayed in. Beautifully appointed room set in gorgeous park like garden. Very comfortable bed with the luxury of electric blanket. Welcome glass of sherry. Well appointed kitchen. Friendly staff and large enough breakfast to see you through the day.

What a lovely area but totally spoilt by the standard of cleanliness- the brown laminated floor has a grey tinge from mopping the dirt around, cobwebs and gecko poop coming down the walls- it's actually quite disgusting. Dining room chairs have marks on them, dusty windows, dirty skirt boards- gosh if you're into hygiene this is not the place for...

Dear Angela Thank you for your review; it did come as somewhat of a shock to me. I inspected the cottage you stayed in this morning and did not find it to be "Filthy Dirty". There was however some dust on the window frames and one small mark on one of the dining room chairs which I have bought to...

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Went up for a wedding and the owners very kindly let us book in early to change etc. The lady who greeted us was extremely polite. Only managed to get to breakfast at 9am but there were no problems at all - and the ladies happily made the brekkie. Room and bathroom clean and tidy...

Comfortable and clean rooms. Rooms and bathrooms were a good size. We stayed in the family suite which consisted of a double room with bathroom and a twin room with bathroom. The twin room had a bar fridge, kettle, toaster, and cutlery and crockery for 4 people, idea for light meals or to warm up pre-prepared meals. Good breakfast served...

Lovely venue with well equipped rooms. Staff are very pleasant. Breakfast was good. Fire place was fantastic. Close to shops and outings. It was the small things that made an impression. Kids loved the dogs!!

We stayed in the cottage for a few weeks with our two small dogs and it was really lovely. The staff are so friendly, the breakfast is lovely and the scenery is beautiful. Chillifields is in a lovely location close to shops and the private hospital.

Stayed here for 11 days while on holiday in Durban. We booked and paid the deposit from the UK and as a result of good communication with Grant all went smoothly. What a lovely setting welcomed us. Loved the horses grazing on the lawn and the friendly dogs that came to visit. We opted out of breakfasts so can't comment...

“Great place close to Durban and for visit to Tala - a lovely little game reserve. If you have a preference for a bath or a shower, specify this as some rooms have a just a bath and others just a shower.”
