Just got back from a four night stay at Ventana Windsports. I already want to go back. This is an action sports area but is a nice laid back place to just hang out and relax too. The room (WindScape) was spacious and comfortable with interesting architecture and great patios (one facing the desert and one facing the water). Food...

what a rare find, fabulous place! although we didn't stay in (inn was booked solid over Thanksgiving break), we ate at Coya several times and walked around the beautiful premises. absolutely the friendliest staff and the most delicious food, no wonder it is hard to score a room! we are already planning for next year!

Ventana Windsports is unique with the best and friendliest staff, the best accommodation. The best food and the best equipment in the world for winter windsports fun. Excellent staff: from Edgar who keeps everything running smoothly (and organized some wonderful New Years Day traditional dancers), to Kenny and his staff and all the gourmet meals, to Jose in the windsurfing...

We are not windsurfers but we had the best 5 days ever. We kayaked, swam, mountain biked and paddled boarded. The staff are five star; we fell in love with all of them within 10 minutes. The food is excellent. Cannot recommend more highly. Very grateful to the owner for creating this slice of paradise for all of us to...

Our group of 10 had a range of ages, from 9 to 60 years. Some are kiters, some aren't. There was something for everyone at Ventana Windsports. Daily yoga, mountain biking, SUP, kayak, snorkeling. The beach is beautiful, the staff wonderfully friendly and helpful. Chef Kenny produced consistently fabulous meals. Everyone had an amazing time! We will definitely be going...

We visited La Ventana windsports resort with dear friends over the last week and made memories of a lifetime. From swimming with whale sharks, to paddleboarding, to snorkeling, to riding horses on the beach, to surfing and boogie boarding, roasting marshmallows on the oceanside campfire, to having windsurfing and kitesurfing lessons right outside your door, to riding ATVs in the...

Our family had a very happy week here. The meals were delicious, plentiful and healthy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We are not windsurfers or kite boarders. There's great mountain biking and trail running nearby in the desert. Amazing cactus!

We loved our stay in La Ventana over the Christmas holidays. It was windy every day. The property was nice and well taken care of. The staff feels like family after 2 weeks: Yane was so kind, going out of her way to bring bougainvillaea and a table and chairs into our room and move out the extra bed. Edgar...

I just went down to La Ventana to learn kiteboarding. Used reviews to narrow my place to stay. Choose Ventana Windsports based on that. Like a previous post mentioned, I am hesitant to post a review only because I have found a slice of paradise! This place is right on the beach. While I kiteboarded, my wife chilled out beachfront....

I hesitated writing a glowing review of Ventana Windsports... selfishly wanting to keep this gem a our secret paradise. But when I saw a bad review... I had to defend it. It's a fool who makes reservations without confirming what is included and what is extra. My husband, myself and many friends have been coming here for about 12 years....
