Rating should have been excellent if not for a final glitch: at the arrival, the guy receiving us assured the snorkel trip provided by the hotel was included in the accomodation fare. At the departure, we have been charged usd 250 for it. My suggestion: CLEARLY ask what is included in the room price list and what is not. The...

Stopped in for a few nights while next hotel was getting ready. They never were ready so stayed two additional nights. Book online (325peso savings for me if I had). Breakfast is included, and it always different. Coffee, fruit, yogurt, cold cereal, and milk is put out for self serve. Breakfast is brought to you at table. Quite sweet, they...

Palapas Ventana is my favorite place in all of Mexico. Some of the best spearfishing and fishing around, world-class food, surf trips, kayaking, infinity pool, air-conditioned private casitas. The staff and guides treat you like old friends and do whatever they can to make your trip perfect. Their live-a-board spearfishing trips are the stuff of legend.

The Santa Cruz Kelp Stalkers crew killed it! Epic spearfishing, excellent food, excellent staff. It just doesn't get any better than this. We saw Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, and just about every pelagic fish you could image.

Came down to Palapas Ventanas in early March to teach a bunch of my surfer friends how to kite. Tim & his staff kept us stoked every single minute of the trip. They arranged professional kite lessons complete with shuttle up to the beginner spot the second the wind turned on every day. The instruction and gear was top-notch. In...

This was my forth trip to Palapas Ventana to spearfish with Red Sea Ocean Adventures. As always, Tim, goes out of his way to make sure we have a good time. The new POOL and jacuzzi are awesome. Food is always good. Looking forward to next year!

We spent 5 days at Palapas Ventana. We had gone with the intention to kiteboard and although there was no wind we had a lovely time. The staff was kind, helpful and engaging. The food was phenomenal and the margaritas- MMMM. Israel is a gem and will take great care of you. Nikki taught us a private yoga class which...

My family of four have just returned from four days at Palapas. The staff are amazing, especially Israel, Brock and Garth. We snorkelled for a day and tried spear fishing with Garth. He was a most incredible guide. The food was amazing despite the chef being away. We also swam with the whale sharks having Pablo as our Guide. Pablo...

Tim and the staff at Palapas Ventana have worked hard to create a special place that is incredibly beautiful and comfortable. This isn't a gigantic luxury resort with walls to separate you from the culture and beauty of Baja but rather a place to embrace them. From the comfortable and homey casitas to the fantastic food to the exciting activities...
