Set in attractive countryside the Hotel offers a great place to stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A good selection of food was on offer for both lunch and our evening meal. Lounge areas were comfortable and the bedroom clean and well appointed. Certainly would return if ever in the area again.

Stayed the night in March. It is a pleasant but tired hotel. The building is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful but in my opinion it could do with a little TLC. Our room was very small and a little shabby. Was a pleasant stay but not worth £175 per couple bed and breakfast

Mother's Day. Aside from Christmas and wedding functions, it's one of the most pivotal events in the hospitality calendar. I use the word 'event' with precision as today's expectations dictate that restauranteurs up and down the country must present their clientele with that extra 'something' that surpasses the, once acceptable, traditional roast dinner with the family. No, today, it's almost...

Needed somewhere to stay in a hurry and found the Staff very welcoming, Cost for room was high for a Suite which to me looked like a normal room with a Cot. Breakfast was excellent, I would recommend anyone to stay here Look out for the special offers, I phoned the Hotel direct in the hope i would get a...

We were looking forward to a nicely cooked Mother's Day lunch however it turned out quite a disappointment. Starters were 2 having melon and 1 pate. The melon was ok however some of the fruits weren't ripe and with the Pate the Melba toast was actually just thin white bred toasted but still soft with the 'mixed leaves' accompanying having...

We booked a two night stay using an Itison voucher. Our visit was great from start to finish. The hotel is a beautiful building, situated in lovely grounds. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor. It was small, but comfortable and had every thing we required, including an iron. The bed was comfortable...

We had an amazing stay start to finish we had afternoon tea first which was lovely. Our rm was nice but very small. We ate in the Stables Bar best steaks I've eaten in along time. Breakfast was great i love it being cooked to order. All staff were 5 star.

We booked the hotel using our red voucher day gift which included the room, dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately we left it till late to book so the rooms were already booked but were able to pay an additional £20 to upgrade. When we arrived there was a university ball starting (which we were told was happening when booking) so the...

We chose Beamish Hall as our wedding venue as we fell in love with it the minute we stepped out the car. Stunning grounds, beautiful guest rooms, excellent functions, the food was amazing and the wedding team were spectacular. Rosie and the girls couldn't have helped us more if they tried, last minute total change of all of our plans...

Just spent two days at this hotel. The hotel it self is lovely just like stepping in to a posh country house but the staff are so friendly and could not do enough for us.The rooms were nice and we had two meals there as well and they were great. If you like your walks and scenery go to that coast.
